Got the shoe and it’s somewhat perfect, however I’ve always had some sort of thick shoe which means I had to get used to these very thin layered shoe (thin layered shoe is good) and also it stabs your heels, which even tape couldn’t stop it from stabbing. But your leg should get used to it and it should be good after a while. Would highly recommend it if you don’t have wide foot and used to heel stabbing!

Got the shoe and it’s somewhat perfect, however I’ve always had some sort of thick shoe which means I had to get used to these very thin layered shoe (thin layered shoe is good) and also it stabs your heels, which even tape couldn’t stop it from stabbing. Pricey but soccer doesn't require much equipment like some sports. Aside from shin guards which are cheap (even good ones) the cleats are it from an individual standpoint. My teenage daughters both have this Elite FG Mercurials and they love them. I could tell out of the box they were of better quality than cheaper models. Ultra light weight and soft (good touch) material.
Bought these for my daughter. She absolutely loves them. Wishes she had a backup pair. Just have to purchase at least a half size up as they are hard to put on.
These have broken in 4 places along the fly wire in straight neat lines after very little wear. Returned to sports direct store to be told "they can break the first time you wear them, we don't give anyone refunds or exchanges if that happens". Pointless paying the extra money for them and poor service from sports direct. They also caused nasty blisters as other reviewers have stated. Will be buying Adidas from a different shop from now on.
I have always worn mercurials as I find the fit to be seamless, given that I have a narrow foot. This product is incredibly loose around my foot and I have purchased the same size I always purchase. I have to accept that I have wasted my money, Nike could have made this massive change known to its very loyal customers and i could have chosen accordingly, but instead I’m stuck with these garbage boots that I cannot use. At least now I know that Nike is no longer for me.
Too Small. Never had a problem with size. Wear a solid 8. These are far too tight. And now, can exchange bc there are hardly any more sizes available.
My 13year old purchased these out of his own birthday Monday and compared to others like this he’s had these were not worth the money, the material is very poor and they do not wear well . Very very tight fit
I bought these a month ago for my sons birthday - he was delighted with them. If only you could make the material dirt repellent! Very pricey for a 10 year old but he’s very particular when it comes to his boots.
