My parents have a similar set from Zwilling that they received as a wedding gift, nearly 25 years later, we still use those knives. Using the new knives in my kitchen, I have loved them. Extremely sharp and easy to use, there was a reason why I bought my own set after using my parent's set all these years. If you want to invest in a lifelong piece, I suggest these.

I received this knife set as a gift from one of my vendors. I could not be happier with this set. The quality is obvious. Ergonomic handles fit your hands perfectly. The super sharp blades well cut anything I have used them on with ease. The blades are not flimsy like previous cutlery sets I’ve owned. The blades are thick and hardened and do not flex which makes them much more safe to work with. I am looking forward to enjoying these for years to come.

I ordered the set and it arrived very promptly. Unfortunately the knives looked dull and dirty. They were packaged well except that only 2 of the steak knives had a thick plastic protector clip on the tip which I'm assuming should have been on all the knives. The wooden block had a stain on it and some of the knives looked like they had been wiped but still had a residue. Planning on returning but I'm hesitant to order another set.

I loved the knife set because of its weight and its seeming durability. Simplistic in its design with all the needed basics for any kitchen commando. Excellent styling and the equipment has a very heavy, solid feel. I love it! I do wish they had an easier way to sharpen the blades. If your not a professional, then trying to use the Knife Sharpener is a challenge.
First living on my own, I purchased a cheap knife block and knives from Amazon. After 4 years or so, I figured it was time for an upgrade, which led me to this Henckels block and set. What an upgrade! I never realized how poorly made my previous knives were. Not just from the sharpness and ability to cut things, but also from a quality standpoint. These have major heft to them.My only complaint would be that they needed some major cleaning upon arrival. There were some plastic shavings on the knifes and the blades were dirty. I also wish they were still made in Germany. However, I cannot complain due to the pricepoint.
These knives and the sharpener are all we needed to improve our food preparation and keep our kitchen cutlery organized. We find these knifes stay sharper longer than our previous knifes and that helps reduce our time sharpening. They are also weighted better for control and slicing. The steak knife have both serrated and straight edge so I no longer need to have two separate sets. Thank you.
Superior quality. Doesn’t seem cheap and flimsy. Only used them a few times, haven’t had a single issue. Recommend drying immediately before returning to block. Great product for average kitchen use. Picked these up on sale. Happy happy happy.

If you are looking for the best set of premium knives for your home kitchen, this is it. I have been a long time fan of Henckels products, and I was fortunate enough to be gifted this set for Christmas this year. My boyfriend and I have been working with hammy down knives for the last 5 years, and having this set is a breath of fresh air. Cuts are precise and smooth. Hardly any resistance through potatoes, bread loaves, various meats, etc. These knives have a beautiful weight as well. All in all a solid set for home chefs.
