The German knives are so much more robust and reliable than their Japanese counterparts. For every day use, they cannot be beat. This particular model is nice because you can "rock it" to quickly dice vegetables. I also have a whetstone which can greatly extend the lifespan of these knives and allows you to keep them sharp for safety purposes. Definitely recommend.

I have struggled with other knives to chop and or cut with. The Zwilling 7” knife made it so much easier, the dimpled blade ensured there was no tearing of the food. Just a great knife!!

I saw this knife being used by one of the best UK star cooks and thought I would give it a try….works great for vegetable and poultry prep. Shape makes it ideal for rocking vegetable work and the substantial blade is a real plus for slightly more work like portioning poultry, meat, etc. Sometimes you need a knife with some weight and this form is, for me, better than more traditional European shaped Chef knives.

The feel is great, the cut is precise, and the price was reasonable ! Cooking for my family is just that much more enjoyable.
I have so many slots in my knife block. I sold one other knife to add this one make it the star. It is amazing and if you cook, like I do, you will love it. It cuts like butta. It sure is awesome sauce! Whatever you are cutting does not stick to the knife.
I love knives and I have a lot of them. I love this Zwilling Pro collection but I try this knife as soon as I got it and it did not pass the paper test.
Great size, weight, feel, cutting g edge and flexibility of use
Super sharp, cut myself when washing it right after open the box. It's also well balanced and i like the way it feel on hand.
Out of the box it is very well balanced, reasonable weight and very comfortable grip for my hand. I really enjoy cooking at home and this is the perfect tool for me.
