It was time to transfer to non-toxic cookware for our family. In a hectic lifestyle, work kids and what not, I consider myself an “aggressive cooker” and there were too many instructions on how to use the ceramic set. The sales rep at BBand beyond sounded like he knew what he was talking about and I walked out with a brand new set of pots. I’m forced to use controlled heat, and finally we taste every ingredient in the food. I use 1/8 of the amount of oil as I did with nonstick and the food slides off the pan. I even put the entire set in dishwasher before first use on sanitize mode and came out perfect. This one is for life.

Great sturdy cookware ! We bought this set & threw out the years of old odds & ends cookware & im so glad we did this is the best cookware it cleans up beautifully & you're not using pots & pans that have missing Teflon from yrs of abuse ! Its a great combination of sizes & it was priced terrific when on sale at Sam's Club ! We have seen the same set at other stores for between 400 & 500.00+ so it was a great deal at Sam's Clb ! Well worth the money ! The only thing we found wrong was the handles to the lids get very hot but if you remember to use a hot pad to lift the lids you will be very happy with this set. I bought this particular set of cookware for a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. I own a set myself and absolutely love it! It is a bit pricey but was well worth the cost in my opinion. The Zwilling Energy Plus is a great quality product and is very easy to clean. Ive used mine for almost a year and it still looks shiny and new, inside and out. The set is stainless steel with a ceramic interior. The product description said that it can be washed in the dishwasher but, I cannot vouch for that, as I always wash my pots and pans by hand.

I was trying to compliment this company for making a great set of nonstick cookware without PTFE. However, I guess they consider this topic too controversial. The cookware industry has sneaky ways of including PTFE in their products and trying to keep it Hush Hush by calling it something else maybe. Or by mentioning that they have no PFOA in it, but nothing about PTFE. I had to return another set of cookware because of that. Then I found this one, which is great. At least the other company had the decency to put a warning in their information pamphlet (in very fine print) that "cooking fumes" can kill pet birds.They did not make the distinction that it isn't cooking fumes in general but fumes from PTFE. I bought the Zwilling Energy Plus 10 pc. Set. I love the look of stainless but I wanted non-stick cookware. This set was the perfect choice in that regard. The ceramic is great to cook on. I use very little oil or cooking spray and they clean up in an instant. The pieces feel substantially weighty but not too heavy. I also love that the lids are glass.I am a little disappointed in the sizes that are included with this set. It has a 2 qt. saucepan and the next size up is the big 6 qt. Dutch oven so I often find myself needing a 4 qt. pot. Similarly, I wish it came with a 12” frying pan. When you’re cooking for a family, a 10” fry pan often isn’t large enough and a matching 12” pan is proving to be hard to find unless I want to buy another 10” pan with it. I purchased this cookware set in Sept. of 2000 hoping the Zwilling name would carry over to quality. Overall, the pans are beautiful and solid. However, the non-stick moniker is a joke. Easily the worst non-stick performance I've ever used. Even cheap $20 pots will be non-stick until the coating falls of. For these pots, especially for eggs, it's like cooking in all stainless w/no butter. For the pots, this is not a big inconvenience but considering most of the time, you are using the frying pans to cook eggs this is a real disappointment. The set was missing the lid to the 4.6qt perfect pan, which is deep. The lid also fit one of the shallow pans. Although there were 2 lids of the same size that went to a smaller size pot/pan, that made the 13 pieces. I called the company from the registration card. They said they would send one. Days later they emailed and said they didn’t have one.I then called Sams, they wanted to give me $20.. I wanted the lid. Again I called the vendor and asked why I couldn’t get a lid? I was informed that since I purchased it from Sam’s they were only responsible for warranty problems. Then asked me if I wanted to purchase a “universal” lid, but was not sure it would work. I returned the set, I would have kept it otherwise.
This set is AMAZING. I do wish that it had a larger frying pan in the set. But I loved the quality so much, that I went to the manufacturer website and got a 12" frying pan in the same style. All of it was worth every penny!The quality really is top notch. The handles are comfortable, sturdy, and stay cool on the stove. The ribbed lips and pour spouts are fantastic. Ribbed lip stops drips from going down the side of the pan. The weight is perfect. Heat distribution... is amazing. Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say and could go on and on about how nice this set is. Also really like the strainer lids! Super helpful.
My husband and I love to cook!! I have been looking for new cookware for a while. Trust me when I say, I researched all the different non-stick, the durability and life of stainless steel, and even copper. Everytime I found a set I liked, I would read reviews that made me second guess because my eyes were on Zwilling. Despite just how pricey it was, which was another hurdle, I knew every penny was worth it. The quality, modern look and design, clean so easy, sturdy in the handle, I can go on and on. The design and construction bottom line is important, and worth the investment. They look great in any household too!
Overall I'm very impressed with the build quality and attention to detail. As an example even the transition from the stainless steel to the non-stick coating is smooth, even and precise, whereas my old Calphalon was hard ugly and noticeable. The grips are also very ergonomic and feel great in the hand, it has a solid balance and doesn't feel overpowered. The strainer lids are also a very welcomes addition, and with how they are fluted with the pots reduces burns from steam. The only things I would change or like to see is a steamer option, handle grip, and dishwasher/oven safe would be a big plus. I haven't made much so far, but they have been excellent and I will be using them daily for cooking and will happily update this review after a few months.
