Excellent for lettuce leaves, berries and other vegies. Using the spinner on prewashed bagged lettuce leaves or spinach isn't as efficient as it's already got water on the leaves. I learnt the hard way. I washed them again and it just was too much. I don't think it's supposed to work on already prewashed vegies. It seems expensive but this site was much cheaper on sale than Myer and other stores. Been thinking about whether I would use a salad spinner enough to warrant the storage problem as they are pretty large then saw Jamie Oliver use one so that made my decision. If it's good enough for a chef to use salad spinners, it's good enough for me.

I’ve had a Zyliss string pull salad spinner previously in a smaller size. I was due to update as my family are now older and therefore needed a larger size. I decided on this model and am really pleased as it dries as efficiently. I love that it can be disassembled for cleaning and drying.

I thought I'd already written a review for this - but here goes again. It's a really good salad spinner. I have the large Zyliss string pull spinner which is fantastic, but in a smaller kitchen this one does the trick too. As a vegan I use it nearly every day :)

This is the worst salad dryer/spinner I’ve experienced - and the RRP is one of the mostexpensive. My comment encompasses the cheapest salad spinners. It looks good andwell-made, but it does NOT dry the salad. I was very glad to return it, and at presentam using an ancient Zyliss spinner with pull string which effectively dries all salads,but unfortunately has a leak. Extremely disappointing.

Compact Salad Spinner

I highly recommend this Swift Dry small Salad Spinner for several reasons. It is compact and easy to store; takes up very little shelf or refrigerator space. The spinning lever/mechanism works efficiently, and has a brake to stop the action so that you don't have to wait. No more hand-cranking! The spinning lever folds down flush with the top, locking in place when not in use, and is easy to unlock when you are ready to put it to work again. The structural wave pattern of the basket allows all the contents to dry evenly and thoroughly. It is simple to rinse out and clean. This one is a winner!

Great little spinner.

I have the larger spinner and love it, smaller one is great for smaller amounts. Easy to use, easy to clean, and one fits on top of the other to save space. Worth the extra cost for a quality product and spins very efficiently.

Perfect for two

This could be the perfect spinner if it was bigger. It is sturdy, compact and the mechanism is smooth. It really works a treat. The only downside is that it is rather small for most families lettuce servings. For that reason, I knocked a star but also would not buy full price.

Perfection

This is an excellent salad spinner. I’ve had a Zyliss for about ten years, the other pull cord sort and it is still in perfect order but now I have a bad shoulder and can’t manage the pull cord. So a move to this style and it’s a dream to use.

Have been wanting one forever but it's not a must have item in the kitchen so just waited for a good price to appear. The salad spinner doesn't get much use as we're not having salad very often but it's very good to have as at least now it's not watery and dressing stays on.
