The bike and Tredz were brilliant... the delivery was a nightmare, didn't come when they said, came when it wasn't arranged and customer service awful. eventually got the bike though and it's everything I'd hoped for, I'm a triathlete buying a mountain bike for a play...it's perfect for me, so far tried it on sand and a trail as well as the roads to get there and back, flawless on all surfaces so far, decent range of gearing too, just about holds it's own in the fastest gear on the road at a reasonable speed...obviously not a tri bike so expected it to be different

Front axle fell to bits and lost bearings on a short flat ride less than 20 miles from new. Would have been very dangerous if on a trail. Cone bearings not tightend properly and disc retaining plate had been x threaded on according to independant mechanic due to poor manufacturing. Tredz refused replacement wheelset - I will never buy Merida or use Tredz/Halfords ever again and I recommend you don't either. Terrible company.

New Merida Bike is amazing. Great value for the money. Been out a couple of times on the bike and clocked 45miles on it. Step up from my old bike. Tredz have been fantastic. Fast delivery with a great online chat service.
Bike arrived in good order, with checks done, just really disappointed in the delivery service. 48 hrs with possible delay, is not a full week late. Which it was.
For the first 3 or 4 weeks it was amazing but after awhile just got beaten up and the suspension doesn’t give enough support
