Unfortunately I experienced constant blow outs with this batch of nappies. I used Ecoriginals for 2 years with my now 4 year old hence why I wanted to try them for my newborn. I reached out to the company to ask if I could send the nappies back for a refund. They spent over 3 weeks going back and forth over email and even asking me for photos of my bub in the nappies which I happily sent through. The final email received today was to say sorry there is no fault and sorry you’re disappointed but there’s nothing we can do. I spent over $2000 on these nappies with my first son so am incredibly disappointed with their poor customer service. I won’t be recommending these to any new mums and will sadly have to donate my 5 packs of nappies and wear the cost.

I ordered 3 packs of size 0 and 3 packs size 1. They’ve constantly leaked *** up my baby boys back despite being fastidious with how we are fitting the nappies during changes. I don’t know if it’s the design or the absorbency but these are not for us. I’ve only just opened the first size 1 pack now he’s in the right weight range and it didn’t last a 1.5 hour nap. Other eco brands haven’t had this issue, won’t be buying again and will gift these elsewhere.

Was initially impressed with our Size 0 Eco Originals nappies for our newborn daughter. Fit was spot on, she was well within the correct weight range and the nappies seemed to absorb her stool and her urine.Sadly, this is no longer the case since progressing up to the next size. She is well within the Size 1 range, the nappy is fit correctly - snug but not tight as to cut off circulation. Consistently find her clothes to be soaked in urine, and on occasion, her stool has leaked through the sides of the leg openings. No matter how many times we have tried to alter the fit, they leak regardless. As much as I want these to work given they are environmentally friendly, they do not absorb liquid and leak frequently, which ends up being a waste of resources as we have ... MoreWas initially impressed with our Size 0 Eco Originals nappies for our newborn daughter. We have been using ecooringals at night since last year, our LO is now 3 but was born 3 months premature and is still wearing 2s. We changed over from another brand after the size no longer fitted well and haven't looked back.We do cloth nappies during the day but pull-ups on Kindy day and at night. We changed from nappies once out LO got very good at undoing the tabs at night and have had nothing but success with these oull-ups. We are also hoping they help in the upcoming transition to toilet training. It's a great brand, ethical and good fit for us even with an 11.5kg 3 year old. I chose them after reading through the cheat sheets and am so happy.
I did some research before settling on Ecoriginals. They seem to offer the best low impact solution. Mostly they have been great. Unfortunately we occasionally come across an issue where 3-4 nappies in a row will leak! It happens with short intervals between changes and with small amounts of urine. It has happened in size 1 and again in size 2 - for the second night this week. After 3 full changes between 1am and 6am (for the second night this week) I will be changing brands. Perhaps there is a manufacturing fault or batch issue that need to be looked into. The glue in this pack has also been sticking to my babies backside.
I love that these nappies are eco because that’s quite hard to find, but my order has taken literal weeks to arrive and I’m not particularly happy with the service. They also don’t really hold much in, if anything. I’ve concluded that’s probably because of what they’re made from, which I’m happy to deal with considering the lesser impact on our planet (although I wish that leakage wasn’t the case).
I am a big fan of these nappies. I love that they’re eco-friendly as well as being incredibly absorbent. They fit my little boy well and stay on securely as he starts to navigate crawling and walking. I highly recommend these and will continue buying
Tried this brand as a low tox option to see if it was better than my usual brand (also low tox) because it's slightly cheaper.Had nothing but problems. Continuous leaks despite checking the fit and changing every 2hrs etc. Three times the nappy has actually started to fall apart. They just have no absorbency at all. I definitely can't use them overnight so I'm just burning through the packet I opened and donating the rest with a warning note to change extremely frequently.Would never recommend or buy again.
I love the fact that these nappies are eco friendly and on subscription yet they just did not work for us. We had leakages 80% of the time even after trying to adjust the nappies to fit my newborn. Costomer service just refers to the fit and nothing else really. I just think that not all nappies suit all babies. We are trying others to find the best fit for our baby. It would be nice if they had a money back guarantee as I now have 3 packets of nappies I can't use.
We have been a cloth nappy family since our now 5 year old was a baby. Back then we only used disposable nappies and wipes when we travelled, and loved Ecoriginals. Recently our daughter has been in a hip brace, which means cloth is out of the picture for a few weeks. We were buying Ecoriginals at Foodlamd (SA) but decided it would be more economical to buy in bulk from the online store. This was very easy to arrange and the delivery was very quick. The only thing that annoys me is that the sizing on the packaging is in pounds rather than kilograms.
