This mattress is great quality and we love that it's Australian made but we are finding it a little too soft. We purchased the model down for our son and we prefer the plush version of this mattress. Slowly getting used to this one but I would not recommend this particular mattress after comparing to the alternative option that is cheaper. I hope this helps the next buyer as we do love the AH Beard quality and product.

After about a year, the middle zone softened so much it feels like you are sitting up in bed. I now use the "Performa Edge support" to get any form of support and just sleep on the outer 5cm of the bed but be warned.. if you fall into the middle zone you may need a ladder to climb out. It was OK at the start, so I assume it is a degredation in springs. (I weigh 80-90kg). The springs in the centre of the bed between my partner and I still have better support so there is litterally 2 soft cavities in the bed (due to matress rotation). Currently shopping for a different brand.

We were looking to upgrade to a King size mattress and fell for the write up, but as per many of these reviews, this medium feel makes a 'plush' look firm. Terrible support. My wife and I are both between 70-80kgs, but sink horribly in this mattress. I am worried we won't be able to get any remedy from AO based on the fact the mattresses can't be returned, but surely if the Australian Consumer Law is worth it's weight, then this product 'does not match the description'.

This is one of the worst shopping experience I have ever purchased. The Mattress company should be ashamed to make suck rubbish. I have never experienced such a bad quality mattress. My old mattress I just replaced was 10 times better then this new one. I was stated, medium, however it is way, way too soft. I ended up with a sore back after 30min and slept on the floor. Will be making a complaint to the ombudsman as this mattress is not fit for purpose and it's not medium. My entire body sinks in pretty deep into the mattress. Unacceptable!!
This is definitely the worst mattress we ever bought. Moreover, we do not have any recourse because of AO’s policy oc not returning mattress.We were looking for a firm mattress to get good support for our backs, and the description of this mattress fitted that requirement.However, the mattress is not even close to firm. It is extremely soft and sags easily, making our back condition worse. I am sure a cheap non-branded product would be better than this.It seems we have no option but to get rid of this mattress at our own expense.I would not recommend buying mattresses from AO to anyone.

So, I thought “don't throw good money after bad”.My Advice:- Never buy a mattress from a shop that only sells online because you cannot “Try before you Buy” and especially if the company has no “Customer Satisfaction Guarantee” for the product. Also, I believe AH Beard products are made to order for different shops and therefore may/will vary greatly in performance and feel from shop to shop.

First, congrats to Appliances Online for providing great delivery service & extremely competitive pricing. Free delivery-wow!The Mattress: It's just what I needed, good quality & so far seems perfect. However, make sure you do the research as I wanted plush but was told that Domino Mattresses are quite soft & therefore I should get a medium. Spot on & it's suitable for Adjustable Beds even though the description says it's not. I confirmed with the manufacturer. Hopefully, years of use ahead.
I was under stress to buy a mattress so that my sister would have a bed to sleep in when she arrived for a visit.I wanted a good mattress as she has Parkinson's Disease.With the help of the wonderful Customer Support people I had this mattress and base delivered two days before her arrival. I decided that she should sleep on my bed and I would try the new bed. It was absolutely fantastic to sleep on! So very very comfortable.
After having an excellent AH Beard mattress before, I trusted the quality. Worst mistake! Mattress is so uncomfortable I wake in pain. It is supposed to be plush though all I can feel is corrugated lumps which is their excuse for support zones. This quality is cheap and nasty. As I am an older person I don't have the money to return or replace, so I now have to suffer till I can save for something better.
