I dreamed of being able to own a pair of Alpinestar Tech boots since I got my first dirt bike way back in 2004. Fast forward to 2023 and I finally purchased another bike and some riding gear. I was going to order the regular Tech 7 boots, but after seeing they had a slick sole, I decided to give the enduro model a shot. I'm glad that I did. The fit and finish is 2nd to none! They were pretty comfortable straight out of the box.. but after getting 10+ hours of ride time in them, they have loosened up and become even more comfortable. I have no issue with wearing these boots for 8+ hours of riding/walking. They fit true to size. I wish they would have come with inner booties, but it's not a deal breaker. When wearing these boots, my ankles and feet feel safe. They are very sturdy in all of the right places. The latches are well made and very functional. I have done a lot of riding in these boots and they have been holding up extremely well. They don't scuff easily. They're a breeze to clean after a ride. Excellent protection and comfort. I bought the black, brown, with the white logo. The sole on this model really helps you maintain good grip and footing on and off the bike. Wet rock? Not a problem with these boots. I can walk or run straight across wet rock. Try that in the mx model with a slick sole and I'll bet you end up on your.. well you can see where I was heading with that. Highly recommend to anyone looking for protection and functionality with serious comfortability. Excellent job!

My first new riding boots in 50yrs!!! I decided it was time to gain the protection offered by modern boot designs. I ordered in the Tech 7's and then thought maybe I should have gotten the enduro style. I did way more research after I received my Mx tech 7's. I liked the great price I paid for them and wondered if it would be worth the added expense and hassle to swap them for the enduro style.I've decided to keep them. In my opinion the enduro sole might be a little better for footing, but not as aggressive as what I'm used too. It's kind of an all season , not a mud terrain. The protection and functionality of the boot being the same between the styles the sole wasn't enough to switch.

I bought these boots specifically for adventure riding on a KTM 890 Adventure, after suffering a broken foot from riding with sub-par boots last year. I have had these boots for about 3 months and have used them for many miles both on road and off. They were comfortable right out of the box, but have broken in a bit since my first use. Due to the enhanced level of lower foot protection over what I am used to it took a little getting used to for me with shifting as I don't "feel" my lever as much as before, but that is more about what I was used to than anything to do with these boots. I typically wear an 11.5 and the 11's fit perfectly. They are comfortable to wear walking around and squeak a bit like others have said, but they don't bother me and I don't hear any ... MoreI bought these boots specifically for adventure riding on a KTM 890 Adventure, after suffering a broken foot from riding with sub-par boots last year. Overall this is my first pair of Alpinestars boots and I am very happy with them. I feel much more protected when riding, the stiffer sole makes standing on the pegs much easier, and the fit and finish is top notch. These are more "aggressive" than many ADV style boots, but they work great for me and I would highly recommend them.

I bought these boots on closeout, so the price was half what the Tech 10 boots cost, and I think it's important to really call that fact out for this review. Everything is going to be relative to the price I paid rather than the price these would have been before the closeout sale. That out of the way, these boots are pretty good. I know Aplinestars has changed where their boots are manufactured over the years, and that has caused a noticeable drop in quality. But for under $400, I think the few problems this boot has are pretty easy to overlook as long as they last you several years. I know they likely will not, but the price was impossible to argue with.Comfort wise, I didn't need to break these boots in, or walk around my house with them to make them ... MoreI bought these boots on closeout, so the price was half what the Tech 10 boots cost, and I think it's important to really call that fact out for this review. But for under $400, I think the few problems this boot has are pretty easy to overlook as long as they last you several years. I know they likely will not, but the price was impossible to argue with.Comfort wise, I didn't need to break these boots in, or walk around my house with them to make them comfortable. They were completely wearable and comfortable out of the box, which is great. They're going to be pretty warm on a hot day, but I didn't feel like my feet were too hot and it wasn't uncomfortable riding in 90-95 ºF weather in the northeast US. They're stiff where they need to be for protection, but I had no issues walking around or even going up and down my loading ramp or standing on my bike stand top.The straps are fine, but it's hard to get the boot feeling tight enough. The toe strap is widely known for needing to be removed and cut shorter for those of us in the US 10+ size range at least. I'm a little disappointed that they basically used the same strap for all four locations, but it only takes a few minutes to cut the toe box strap shorter and put it back together. The Velcro patch at the top of the boot is secure, but a little annoying when putting the boots on and needing to fasten them closed. But, the top of the boot does have an okay amount of room for people with bigger calves. I'm not too sure how tight you could get them on someone without larger lower legs, but I think there's a tiny bit of adjustment that can be done on the buckle to bring it in or out.The traction of the soles is pretty good on dirt bike pegs, I never felt like my feet would slip or anything. The enduro base also lets your pegs interlock a little bit, though. If I had the MX bottom, I'm not sure how that would feel. Walking around, climbing up and down things while getting ready, though, there was more than enough traction for comfort.Again, for the price I paid, I think it's hard to argue against these boots. They clearly don't compete with Gaerne SG12 or SG22, but then they were never supposed to in my opinion. And if you're paying half the price for a boot, it starts to make more sense.
Very comfortable, very protective, very nice boot. However, the squeaking these guys produce is HORRIFIC. I probably should not use them for my daily riding and such but they are comfortable enough to walk around a little in them so I thought I'd be fine. No. So much squeaking it is unbearable. I think it is entirely the rear ankle protection but I can't know for sure.If you use it for what it was designed for, motocross you'll be fine. If you use it much less than I do or just don't walk much at all in them, you'll be fine.Thankfully I got them on closeout and they are very durable and repairable so I will just sell them and recoup most of the loss. So close to loving these boots!
They feel and fit great. I have a hard time finding work boots that fit right so I was worried about how these would fit. I went to a local MX shop and tried a pair on and was surprised at how well the footbed felt. Normally I need a wide boot but these were just right. My only complaint and this is with any boot, they're stiff as heck. Once they get some more time on them I think they'll be perfect.
Hello everyone,I was extremely nervous to make a purchase through this company because the pricing was so great, I thought for sure it was a scam. So I decided to message T.R. CATANESE and after a bit of chatting he told me to give him a call, so that’s exactly what I did. After I called and spoke with T.R. He guaranteed and reassured me that he couldn’t get his website any safer, so I went ahead and placed the order. I was instantly sent a confirmation email and within a day received a tracking number… So if you are having any doubts about this company don’t because you will miss out on some of the best pricing around for a set of boots! The boots showed up in a box and were wrapped in plastic as you would expect from any store.I just want to give a shout out to ... MoreHello everyone,I was extremely nervous to make a purchase through this company because the pricing was so great, I thought for sure it was a scam. These are my first pair of riding boots and no doubt about it, they really are comfortable. I've got wide feet and and I always have a hard time finding shoes that don't squeeze my toes together. I put these Tech 7 on and within a half an hour of waking around in my house they seemed to mold to my feet. No pinching, no tight spots yet a very snug fit. I'm so happy that I watched your your YouTube video about these boots, everything said about them were spot on. I highly recommend the Tech 7's especially if you have wide feet. I recently put a down payment on a 2023 Honda CRF300 L, im really looking forward to trying these boots while riding. Thanks much for all your helpful videos. I've been an alpine stars guy for 20yrs, and had migrated from the Tech8 to the Tech 10. For whatever reason, Tech10's were a step down in my experience. Comfort, break-in, wearing out the soles etc. So I put off buying new boots this last time, not wanting to go thru the risk of switching brands, but not wanting to get another pair of Tech10's. So, when the price dropped on Tech7's, I thought, "What the hell, I'll buy them, try them, and if I don't like them, at least I haven't spent $600+ on boots that bug."And... I love the Tech7's. Comfy. Maybe more than the Tech8's (It's been a while). Day #1 shifting was almost flawless, braking was a bit stiff, but great for a new break-in routine. Highly recommend. And Motor Psycho was flawless in delivery, and had the best ... MoreI've been an alpine stars guy for 20yrs, and had migrated from the Tech8 to the Tech 10. You know what you're buying if you're looking at these boots.if you're a Size 16, these are the only motorcycle boots to buy (aside from Tech 3 and Tech 5)(PLEASE Alpinestars, make your vented boots in Size 16, Florida and Texas riders beg you!... could you also PLEASE make a yellow model for your Tech 7 Enduro Drystar boots.
