It was great. Item arrived super quick, about 2 days after placing the order and I love rural. I returned them because I have a super picky husband and he didn’t like the colour 😂 There was no issues returning them and refund was in account a few days after posting them back! Highly recommend and will be looking to order from bikebiz in the near future!

I have less than 10 hours riding enduro on these boots, and the right sole insert has already torn apart. I don't ride hard enduro, and most of these hours are on a groomed OHV trail. As I have yet to receive a response on warranty/return, from Revzilla or Alpinestars, it appears I'm out of luck. Other internet reviews prove that I'm not the only one seeing this issue. After I spend what appears to be around another $135 to resole these, I may as well have bought a much more expensive pair from another brand. Looks like I'm putting these to pasture, and going with a much more durable and serviceable boot. Disappointing to say the least.

Always have been a big AStar guy. I?ve always believed they made the best stuff. I?ve worn fox boots most of my life, but have always wanted a Tech series boot. They are fantastic. Good grip Super comfortable. The protection is awesome. The only weird thing about them is the smell. Maybe it?s unique to me, but I got them wet, and for whatever reason, they have a smell similar to cat pee when they are moist or wet on the inside. It?s hard to get them dry because of how well they are protected. Offset that with a hair dryer and some dryer sheets under the foot pads. My only regret is not forking out extra money and buying the tech 10s. If the 7s are THIS good. I can?t imagine what the 10s are like.
I had higher expectations for these. Coming from the fox instincts I’m a little let down. They are insanely stiff for the first dozen rides. They seem to let dirt and mud into the boot mid way down. My last issue with these is they seem to stink to high heaven already and am having a hard time getting the smell to go away. A little let down with these.

I've just purchased my second pair of Tech 7s. The first pair lasted 5 years which is pretty good. It was only the sole that wore out, unfortunately no replacement soles available so purchased a new pair. These are super comfy, safe, lighter than some other boots and provide good feel. They may not be as good quality as the Gaerne boots, but for me they're much more comfortable and still very good quality. The only downside is that they're not very waterproof.
I wear a euro 38 and that is a difficult size to find, not to mention a ladies boot. The lack of option for a ladies boot is beyond frustrating so I reached out to some other lady-riders I know and they recommended the Tech 7. Fortunately they come in my size. Win!They are a stiff and more firm boot than I am used to but that was the entire point behind this purchase and a snapped ankle is what I am trying to avoid. I bought these a few months ago and had some time in them, I have worn a few other makes of boots and always come back to the Alpinestars Tech 7's. They are supportive, comfortable, and well made, My color preference is white as they look awesome on the rider and are very photogenic! The only shortcoming is the lack of waterproofing, they leak FAST and the first puddle you hit will end up soaking your socks and having water ooze through your toes the rest of the day, Alpinestars does offer a waterproofing version in the Tech 7 called the drystars, so if we feet is to be avoided at all costs, check that line out! Other than the wet feet, I highly recommend them for MX and Enduro Riding !
