This will be my 2nd pair of Tech 7's. The first pair I ordered about 5 years ago were the regular style, non-enduro and are still in great shape but when I ordered them, I should have gone a size smaller because after they broke in my feet slide around inside and that is obviously not something you want in footwear.Regardless, this boot offers a solid amount of protection and are super comfortable to walk around in if you spend most of your time out in the trails like I do. They require minimal break in time and the lugging on the outer portion of the sole is a nice addition as well.Note:If you watch the product video the seller describes these boots as being true to size and although that may be true, if you are in between sizes like myself and have a wider ... MoreThis will be my 2nd pair of Tech 7's. Been on street bike for ever, mostly Harley. Started dirt biking last year and could not change gears or hit the back brakes. These boots are a game changer. Worth all the money. Changed my riding the first day. I could change gears and hit the back brakes much better than my other boots. That gave me more confident to go a little faster.

Great Boots! Fitting size is half size smaller. I normally wear a size 9.5 in Merrell so, I bought a size 9. They fit like they were made for my feet. Awesome ankle support and movement for shifter and brake. The only con is that they get louder as they break in.

This is my first pair of MX style boots but based on a lot of research I think these are a best bet in terms of features, protection and value. I’ve put a few hundred miles in them and am pretty happy with my purchase. They are really nicely built and feel very protective. A note on fit. I wear a size 12-13 in all my sneakers and boots and have slightly narrow feet, ankles and calves. I purchased a size 12 and feel they leave me adequate length and plenty of room to wiggle my toes which seems necessary in a boot that’s so stiff and I’m confident I can wear them for many many hours without discomfort or hot spots. I’m making them work but I would say they’re made more for a typical American foot, leg and calf (wider/ thicker). My sense is that for taller slimmer folks such as myself, perhaps a sidi would be a better fit and route to take but sadly all the sidi boots I was interested in were sold out and I wanted to be riding safe asap.
I dreamed of being able to own a pair of Alpinestar Tech boots since I got my first dirt bike way back in 2004. Fast forward to 2023 and I finally purchased another bike and some riding gear. I was going to order the regular Tech 7 boots, but after seeing they had a slick sole, I decided to give the enduro model a shot. I'm glad that I did. The fit and finish is 2nd to none! They were pretty comfortable straight out of the box.. but after getting 10+ hours of ride time in them, they have loosened up and become even more comfortable. I have no issue with wearing these boots for 8+ hours of riding/walking. They fit true to size. I wish they would have come with inner booties, but it's not a deal breaker. When wearing these boots, my ankles and feet feel safe. They are very sturdy in all of the right places. The latches are well made and very functional. I have done a lot of riding in these boots and they have been holding up extremely well. They don't scuff easily. They're a breeze to clean after a ride. Excellent protection and comfort. I bought the black, brown, with the white logo. The sole on this model really helps you maintain good grip and footing on and off the bike. Wet rock? Not a problem with these boots. I can walk or run straight across wet rock. Try that in the mx model with a slick sole and I'll bet you end up on your.. well you can see where I was heading with that. Highly recommend to anyone looking for protection and functionality with serious comfortability. Excellent job!
I was excited to try and replace my 7 year old fox comp 5 boots (still love those), and was anticipating greatness from these tech 7 boots based on all the great reviews and even staff picks. However, these are just about the most narrow boot I have ever tried and are completely painful in just a couple of minutes, even with the loosest settings. I normally wear shoe size 13 and go to 14 for boots just to be safe, but these 14s feel like they just took a size 11 and stretched it longer and not wider. Also, there are strong painful pressure points from the buckle attachment points about mid way up the boot, and that has nothing to do with size, just a boot that is not well designed. This is something I didn’t expect from Alpinestars (love the rest of their stuff I have), and certainly not what I expect from a boot in this price range. Guess I have to eat the cost and time of shipping these back. I will definitely be avoiding this brand for boots going forward. Revzilla has been terrific with shipping and as much as I can expect for returns. Five stars to revzilla, zero for the boots.
I bought these boots specifically for adventure riding on a KTM 890 Adventure, after suffering a broken foot from riding with sub-par boots last year. I have had these boots for about 3 months and have used them for many miles both on road and off. They were comfortable right out of the box, but have broken in a bit since my first use. Due to the enhanced level of lower foot protection over what I am used to it took a little getting used to for me with shifting as I don't "feel" my lever as much as before, but that is more about what I was used to than anything to do with these boots. I typically wear an 11.5 and the 11's fit perfectly. They are comfortable to wear walking around and squeak a bit like others have said, but they don't bother me and I don't hear any ... MoreI bought these boots specifically for adventure riding on a KTM 890 Adventure, after suffering a broken foot from riding with sub-par boots last year. They are comfortable to wear walking around and squeak a bit like others have said, but they don't bother me and I don't hear any squeaks riding down the road. Overall this is my first pair of Alpinestars boots and I am very happy with them. I feel much more protected when riding, the stiffer sole makes standing on the pegs much easier, and the fit and finish is top notch. These are more "aggressive" than many ADV style boots, but they work great for me and I would highly recommend them.
First time ordering from Motor Psycho Sport, was a little skeptical with prices so good. But read some reviews and rolled the dice. Price on these Tech 7s was amazing and they fit like a dream. Communication throughout the sales/shipping process from Motor Psycho was excellent. Will definitely be shopping from here more from now on.
These boots offer excellent protection, but they were not durable at all. At less than two years old and about 20k miles of adventure riding, there has been a lot of wear on places that I wouldn't expect. The toe cup cuts into the leather immediately above it and has worn all the way through. Additionally, the inner liner underneath the buckles is pretty thin and has a few holes now.I specifically did not want a waterproof boot, however water does ingress extremely easily, especially with the quick wear. For a more premium boot, I expected to get more life from them.
This is my first pair of motorcycle boots ever. I normally ride in my tall leather steel toe Thoroughgoods. These at first seemed very stiff and impossible to shift or brake my on my GS. After a full day of riding, I was shifting easily and braking was acceptable. I do plan to add an accessory to my brake pedal to make it easier. The boots are very comfortable and feel very sturdy. I now don't like the idea of riding without them. If you're on the fence, I get it. So was I. Definitely well worth the investment.
