Honey is a sweet, syrup-like substance that bees produce from the nectar of flowering plants. The bees collect the nectar and then consume, digest, and regurgitate it inside the beehive to produce honey which is stored in wax-like structures called honeycombs, and then gathered by humans through the practice of beekeeping. Many types of honey are available, differing based on the plant source, the extraction method, and whether it's raw or pasteurised. Raw honey has been used as a folk remedy throughout history and has a variety of health benefits and medical uses. It has even been used in hospitals as a treatment for wounds. The majority of health benefits of honey are specific to either raw, unpasteurised or Manuka. Most of the honey you find in grocery stores is pasteurised. The high heat kills unwanted yeast, however can improve the colour and texture, removes any crystallization, and extends the shelf life. Many of the beneficial nutrients are also destroyed in the process.

I love this honey, it's very tasty but also love knowing it's organic and raw just as the bees made it, thank you beautiful bees for sharing.

I am an absolute convert to Ambrosia's Raw Organic Honey. I love that it is organic and the benefits of raw honey ... but it is the subtle sweet, slightly floral flavour that is truly sublime and addictive. To give you an example of how addictive it is to all, I had my young nephews and sister visit me in Tasmania. For breakfast I offered toast and an array of condiments. Once they had tried the Ambrosia Raw Organic Honey .... it became the condiment of choice for the next 7 days and they ate me out of 2 bottles. When returning home and when asked what they would like to take back with them --- they answered they wanted their own bottle of Ambrosia Raw Organic Honey --- stripping me of my carefully stashed supply I had kept in my cupboard. It is hard to describe how ... MoreI am an absolute convert to Ambrosia's Raw Organic Honey. I love this honey as it has a bitter taste and is the only one I’ve found with this unique taste. Please keep the bees working.

Recently purchased this for the first time and it is delicious! I had some guests staying and even they commented on how yummy this honey was. Will be re purchasing in future.
I was looking forward to my Arbutus honey after a long wait. I was disappointed. It is thin, has little consistency and flavour. Such a shame.
Absolutely stunningLove the bitter sweet caramel taste, works wonders with savoury , salad dressings and on its own…adore this treasure of taste
Should have tried this ages ago! Tempted by the reference to Marmite (which I also love) and LOVED the taste (although not so keen on the way it runs so quickly off my toast)
The product is delicious. Just spooning it out is a joy and the taste is something else. An authentic honey, full of flavour.
We have arbutus honey all the time (my husband really, really loves it) but it is usually the set version. The runny arbutus is gorgeous and it does taste different than the set honey, but in a good way. My husband thinks that the full flavour comes through in this one and I definitely will buy this again (but we still love them both)
Feel like a kid in a sweet shop with this honey. Absolutely wonderful honey. The depth is incredible, wonderful after taste.
