I've always been impressed when doing business with B&H. Almost fifteen years ago I started purchasing digital cameras and lenses ... today it's usually computer components. B&H verifies your purchase with a real phone call as well as an email to insure the transaction was made by you. It usually arrives a day early for me and is packaged to protect the contents. Thank you B&H!

Absolutely fantastic CPU. Purchased exclusively for gaming, its been a massive uplift from an Intel 9900K, particularly in titles like Spiderman Remastered and Cyberpunk 2077. Easy to install, the new AM5 platform was very smooth to get up and running. Hardware Unboxed has an awesome video review of this chip, and all my experiences line up with it. If all you're going to do is game, the 7700x matches and in some cases exceeds the 7950x in fps and 1% lows, akd that chip is $300 more. Perfect gaming card for this generation of AMD CPUs.

Its a very fast CPU.Ive paired it with an ASUS TUF 650 and it works great.
Powerhouse of a CPU (on many fronts), very power hungry out of the box but enabling 65W eco mode sees an almost 50% reduction in power draw for a 5% sacrifice in performance, bonkers! Using a 360mm AIO it now idles around 30c and peaks under load at around 65c.
I am really pleased with the system I built with the Ryzen 7700X. It is a great CPU. I haven't experienced any issues with heat at all with gaming or regular use. The system is fast and a great upgrade over the 5800x that I previously had. The system is just as quiet, and most likely quieter with the fan curve I used for both gaming and regular use.I've been using AMD chips for the last several generations. I've enjoyed being able to use the same board for several generations of CPU's, and this is the reason I chose this setup this time around as well. While it may be quite as fast as the 13700K, the difference is not something that would make me want to switch over to a socket that is going to be replaced in the next generation. While it may be quite as fast as the 13700K, the difference is not something that would make me want to switch over to a socket that is going to be replaced in the next generation. I have nothing against Intel, and in fact use a laptop with their tech, but for my gaming PC I felt this was the better option.I am running my 7700x right now in Standard (Default) mode, but have tried ECO mode as well. For those who don't know, you can set the Ryzen to run at 65W if you want it to use less power. To be honest, I haven't seen a situation yet where I am worrying about it, so I have just left it at Default. There are a lot of options for playing around with getting it to be power saving or power hungry, but for most users I think the CPU stock will be a powerful upgrade and well received. My only complaint with this CPU is the boot time. There is about 10-15 seconds of what I think is RAM timing before the system boots into windows. The fans run at full tilt during this time. After that, it boots into windows in 5 seconds or less. I am hoping future BIOS updates reduce that time, but I have gotten used to it at this point.Overall I am very happy with the CPU and look forward to gaming and future upgrades as new generations come out.
Pros: Run faster than my 12600k, can be easily overclocked and even PBO gives it a good boost. Runs cold. In general worth way more than the 7700x. Did not used the included cooler but it seems decent.Cons: Could be cheaper.
I went from AMD to Intel with the 10900k. AMD and their pricing is ridiculous for what it is. These all chiplet based cpus shouldn't cost but half of what AMD is asking for it and it's all manufactured in Taiwan. Literally pennies on the dollar in labor cost no different than Chinese companies. AMD made a terrible choice increasing the price on these parts. Whoever made this choice at AMD should be evaluated. Rather it be the stockholders or chair members. Intel is now charging a decent price because of AMD finally. It wouldn't of happened if not for AMD.
Cheaper than the 7900x but with precision boost overdrive turned on you can get the missing performance without hitting the 95 degree temperature.
Good power consumption without sacrificing the performance a much.
