First, I've always struggled with skin issues including horrible cystic acne covering my entire body (except for calves and arms). Now that I'm in my 40's, I don't have acne, per se, but I still have an incredibly oily T zone and large, clogged pores. My skin is very sensitive and prone to breakouts with product changes. Here is what I did to test this product:1. Morning, wash face as usual (PTR Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel), moisturize (Cosrx Snail Mucin Cream), sunscreen (Missha Soft Finish Sun Milk)2. Evening, Anua Oil Cleanser (massaged into dry face for around two minutes), rinse off with warm water, wash face (same as above), moisturize (same as above)I did this for ten days to give it enough time for my skin to breakout and settle down. After two or three days, my skin was much less oily throughout the day4. My skin has never been cleaner or clearer. Just washing w/face wash alone would leave my T zone oily and pores clogged. Now, my skin is clearer and pores are much smaller! I couldn't be happier and so glad I finally caved to the adsCons: only con is that this is a little drying for my skin. Partly because of this oil cleanser and partly because it's winter in New England. I will need to find a more hydrating moisturizer

Made my skin red, looked like rosacea (I do not have this condition)...My skin is not normally sensitive to products and it is very rare that I get red or irritated skin as a result of a product. However, I do use caution when introducing a product into my routine. So, I started with using the product one a week, then twice, gradually increasing the frequency of use. Upon the 5th week, I started noticing redness and irritability in places where I massaged the product in (for pore cleansing, of course). I thought it may be a flaw in my appliance of the cleanser so I reduced frequency, changed the force I used to apply it and the temperature of the water when rinsing, and tried cutting down from 2 cleansers to just this one. I really wanted it to work and was really looking forward to it because the reviews of the product were so great. I recommend trying the product out as soon as you get it to patch test for irritation. On a positive note, I loved how the product felt when applying; it's super smooth and had a pleasant but not pungent scent. I did notice my pores appearing more clear, but I won't risk the repeated allergic reaction.

I use this oil for my double cleansing nightly, and ohhh boy I never realized how congested my pores were til I started using this stuff. I have combination skin (as does my partner who occasionally uses this too) and everytime I use it I can feel and see the sebaceous filaments popping out onto my hand and it's soo satisfying. I will say I've noticed it can be a gradual process. Not everything comes loose first time. But after consistently using it nightly more and more sebum and dirt comes loose from my pores! It has a nice lightweight scent that's very natural and purifying. I've found using the oil ON DRY SKIN (this part is important!! It's useless on damp skin!), for 2 minutes, and then wetting my hands and emulsifying for another minute and a half before rinsing and following up with water based cleanser has been the most effective!

I was sceptical about this product as I had seen many reviews about this cleanser causing breakouts. I have acne prone and very oily skin, I’ve had some form of acne for about 10 years now since I was 17. I wanted to write a review to help those that might be concerned as I was.I use this product as part of my double cleanse in the evening. I believe the trick to avoid breakouts is to ensure you are removing all remnants of the oil cleanser off of your skin with a water based cleanser afterwards. I use the oil cleanser first and really massage it into my skin and then I use the carbon theory cleansing bar and do the same to ensure all the oil has been removed. I’ve had no issues with breakouts at all and have been using the cleanser for a few weeks to a month ... MoreI was sceptical about this product as I had seen many reviews about this cleanser causing breakouts. I never write reviews but this one is definitely worth the hype. It has helped control my oily skin which no other product has been able to do, as well as leaving my skin looking brighter and clearer.I bought this product myself as a shot in the dark but I’m so impressed that I wanted to help others with acne prone skin by explaining my experience. Don’t be completely put off by the other reviews.

I’ve always struggled with finding a cleanser for my skin. I have dry to combination skin with blackheads and whiteheads that’s sensitive and acne prone, and so finding a cleanser has been tricky but I knew from first use the Anua oil cleanser was perfect. It removed some of my blackheads with just the first use but didn’t dry out my skin, instead it felt soft and very smooth. I’m noticing more blackheads coming out with each use and I’m so happy with this cleanser, usually cleansers burn my skin a little but with this anua oil cleanser, it smells fragrant but never leaves my skin with a stinging feeling. It’s perfect and I’ll one hundred prevent be buying it again, it goes great with the anua foam cleanser too. Completely in love, it even leaves my skin a little shiny. The Skincupid team were great, delivery was quick enough (within 4 days of ordering) and gave me useful samples from brands like Mixsoon. I was worried about buying a fake korean cleanser, but this cleanser is real and I wouldn’t be purchasing it anywhere else.

honestly, i was really skeptical about trying oil cleansing, since i have oily, clog prone skin, but social media really influenced me... and, well, unfortunately, my skin broke out, even in places ive never gotten pimples before. at first i panicked- i wasnt sure which product was causing it, since i had just received a whole new lineup. i was so disappointed too, since i really took my time picking out products that i thought suit my needs best. after looking over the ingredients of my new products, i decided to skip the anua cleansing oil for a few days and see if my skins condition improves. spoiler alert- it truly did. i really dont want to say this is a bad product because most of its reviews would prove otherwise, but as it stands right now- it didnt work for ... Morehonestly, i was really skeptical about trying oil cleansing, since i have oily, clog prone skin, but social media really influenced me... and, well, unfortunately, my skin broke out, even in places ive never gotten pimples before. at first i panicked- i wasnt sure which product was causing it, since i had just received a whole new lineup. i was so disappointed too, since i really took my time picking out products that i thought suit my needs best. after looking over the ingredients of my new products, i decided to skip the anua cleansing oil for a few days and see if my skins condition improves. spoiler alert- it truly did. i really dont want to say this is a bad product because most of its reviews would prove otherwise, but as it stands right now- it didnt work for my skin whatsoever. perhaps my skin just cannot tolerate oil cleansing, but i really want to experience its benefits, so im thinking of trying the mild version before giving up and sticking to micellar water. also, while i dont mind this, some of you more sensitive folks might not enjoy the herbal fragrance this product has, so just a heads up:) good luck
