I have used apple ipad 8th gen so far and it is a prefect shift and upgrade with the ipad Pro 11 inches 2022 model. The 128gb memory is just enough for me as a mild to moderate user and the features are immense within it. The display and the fluidity of the screen is something very special I have enjoyed on this ipad pro. Perfect size and weight to be hand-held. The face recognition has worked beautifully and the optiin of having more than 1 face recognition makes it a family use smooth. The sound from the device is adequate and clear for a hand-held device screen experience. The colour variants being only 2 options in this model is a small down side. Coupling the apple pencile with it as combo offers would improve the buy rate in my opinion.

A handy tool with some convenient improvements. My wife gave her father her tablet a few years ago so he could read news, do his banking, etc. At the time she found her phone sufficed for her needs. Over time she realized that a phone is not quite practical for some of her needs (cooking/reading a recipe while cooking; reading an e-book, watching a show). This tablet is significantly lighter than her old one and, obviously, faster. The USB-C charger is awesome. Sorry you got dragged into USB-C kicking and screaming, Apple, but we, the consumer, appreciate it. It's nice not have to hunt for a charger knowing the tablet charges off USB-C and we are awaiting the iPhone 15 and USB-C. Ok, so I have always wanted an Ipas since the original release. I've tried notebooks and little laptops-- I even had a surface pro. I will say that if you need a laptop or computer then just get that (I prefer windows over apple in that regard because of my user-error issues with Mac) but if you want a tablet or something light, sweet, that gets to the point, plus you already have apple products-- then it's much more convenient to go with the ipad. I just wish it had a silent button like the phone. Also very lightweight for a tablet and can fit into my tote or large purse easily.

I got this iPad mainly for graduate school so that I'm able to have ebooks and keep all my notes together! So far it has been a wonderful investment just for that! Best Buy made it easy to self set up with my current wireless plan I have! Would have appreciated this back in my undergraduate years of school! I was nervous that the size may not be as big as I would like but it is perfect coming from someone who has small hands! My pencil was purchased separate before my iPad purchase but did not take long at all to set up!

For the past several years, I've been interested in the iPad Pro to use as my primary portable computing device. I bought the 1st generation iPad Pro 12.9" when it came out a few years ago, but at the time it was just too big to be the portable, take anywhere device that I was looking for - and I thought I may as well be using a MacBook at that point. The problem that I found with using laptops is that there's a lot of environments that you really don't want to take them into because it's too obtrusive and cumbersome - such as meetings or reading notes when you're talking to a group. The problem that I found with using laptops is that there's a lot of environments that you really don't want to take them into because it's too obtrusive and cumbersome - such as meetings or reading notes when you're talking to a group. After awhile you just don't feel like taking your laptop because of how heavy and obtrusive it is.While I understand that every person's needs vary, I've been looking for an extremely portable experience while being powerful at the same time. For me, the 11" iPad Pro 256GB checks every box so far. I'm loving the battery life, portability, and TONS of iPad apps. While most reviewers are comparing ways that laptops are faster than this iPad Pro, they don't mention the MANY time saving pros of using the iPad Pro. (and most don't mention the many great shortcuts that you can use if you're using the keyboard) For example - on a traditional laptop, how long does it take you to log into your banking website? On iPad Pro, I simply click the "Capitol One" app, it verifies my face, and I'm right in. I've also found that presenting from Google Slides is actually faster as you can just swipe the bar along the bottom to return to your slide list to present the next one. Also, iPads are connected "more directly" to WIFI, and are constantly being updated in "sleep mode" while using minimal battery to do so, so when you unlock the iPad Pro you're already connected and ready to go instead of waiting for it to connect or having to click on the correct WIFI network again. These are just a few examples, I've found many other time saving use cases using the iPad Pro.In summary, I believe that the argument of whether this can be your primary portable computing device is very similar to the debate when the first iPhone came out and everyone said that it couldn't replace your household digital camera or your music player. 10 years later - who even uses a dedicated digital camera or a dedicated music player? What became clear during that time is that the best digital camera is the one "you have with you wherever you go." The same can be said of this iPad Pro - in my use case it is much better than a laptop because it's so much easier to take it most places that I go. I've been loving it, and would definitely recommend it to those needing a super portable computing device!
The 2018 iPad Pro 11 is an excellent tablet computer. A snappy processor even by 2020’s standards and with its newer counterpart only delivering nominal gains, the 2018 Pro discounted is a great deal! Money saved over the incoming model allowed me to budget for a cellular-enabled SKU with more hard drive space.I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The screen, the improved Apple Pencil 2 and the convenience of Face ID over touch for tablet computing are all significant considerations made over the lower cost tablets.Prior to this I have used my wife’s iPad Air 2, a mini-retina and had/have the 6th gen iPad w/ the Apple Pencil Gen 1. Moving to this one was a significant cost increase over what we have spent for tablets historically, but it’s very high quality ... MoreThe 2018 iPad Pro 11 is an excellent tablet computer. Moving to this one was a significant cost increase over what we have spent for tablets historically, but it’s very high quality and very convenient if you use a stylus and primarily, the native Apple Pencil 2.Certain apps I use for work load way faster and run more reliably. I don’t have to go looking for the pencil and my heart skip a beat if I don’t see it right away because it sticks to the side pretty well where it also charges when it needs to.Also, I think tablets used in the professional setting are well served by the cellular enabled option. You can hot spot, but when you’re on the road it’s nice not to have to drain your phone’s battery linking to the internet and it’s just way faster with less interruptions, especially when meeting with clients or visiting places where you don’t necessarily want to hook up to public Wifi networks. Many plans offer low cost prepaid data or allow you to connect to your already existing plan’s data pool.Is it worth an equivalently spec’d laptop? For Sales people, creatives, business operations, etc. it’s very compelling. There are fewer applications I spend time on from the computer but I feel it still necessary at times. You can get by with a cheaper, more entry-level setup, but there are compromises (mostly in the Apple Pencil and Biometric verification departments.) But for work in the field and especially creative production, I feel like this thing is indispensable. It’s truly a Pro-level device. It’s highly portable, blazing fast, has cameras and audio recording and playback capabilities built In, directly. The speakers are also very good by tablet-standards.It’s the highest quality portable computing device I’ve experienced on the market with excellent build quality, a pedigree of lasting a good number of years with continued updates and support. I highly recommend, and especially at a discount now that newer models are out and production on these has ceased.
I am so glad I purchased a new iPad. The 11 inch is perfect to fit in my purse when flying or going to work. It is so fast and the cellular works great. I also got the Wi-Fi version and the spread is great. I am able to print directly to my printer when I had issues doing so with my phone. It was easy set up and downloaded all of my apps and important files quickly without missing anything. It was a good price as well and I set it up for 12 monthly payments which is great living on a fixed income. I highly recommend this iPad and will be using it daily. The price was right and the quality is wonderful. I highly recommend the new 11 inch iPad.
I’ve had iPads since they were introduced. I decided it was time for a new one and splurged on the iPad Pro. I bought it on 2/11/23. I was so excited. I thought it was perfect. It was until 2/20 when the screen froze and there was no way for me to get it started. I couldn’t turn it off, I couldn’t even get the Apple logo to reset it. OK, so I went to a service center. They reset it and got it to work. I had to restore everything. Well, today (3/14/23) it happened again. I once again tried the internet solutions, but so far nothing has worked. I can’t restore it from my Mac either. I’m going to try and restore it from my PC tomorrow. I’m done for the day.I’ve had Apple products since the original Mac. I got an Apple Watch late last year. So I’m a fan girl from Day 1. Never have I had a dud like this iPad. Apparently this is a common problem given all the potential solutions on Apple Support and You Tube. If I can’t restore it myself, I’ll take it back in and see if the service center can “wipe” in again. And then… I’ll try to trade it in. For something else. I’m so done.Save your money.
Coming from a fifth generation iPad, it was hard to get used to not having the button at the bottom. Also other things to get used to with new iOS, like when I swipe up from the bottom, the taskbar pops up first, when I’m used to minimizing the screen first. So you kind of have to continue swiping to shrink your browser window, or search through apps, not sure if I’m explaining that clearly, but when you swipe up to get all the open windows and apps, and you can flick them up to make them disappear, that’s the function I’m talking about. I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. Though it’s not the HDR screen the larger pro has, I think the quality is great, again a big improvement from my iPad fifth generation. It looks bigger than my iPad fifth generation, but it doesn’t feel any heavier or harder to hold. I have not bought the keyboard for it, but I’m thinking about it as it is seems from online reviews kind of handy to not drag my laptop inside or further taking out my laptop, plugging it in, and going through all that when this is always charged and in my room. I can swipe through emails, search the web, check out YouTube, social media, real estate, all very easily, while lying in bed without any discomfort. I added a slim shell case, as I don’t like those other cases that cover and prop up, and feel bulky holding while sitting in bed, or on the couch. Battery also last twice as long as my four or five year old fifth-generation. A dislike is the power down feature , though, I think I can fix that in settings, and screenshot doesn’t feel natural either. It’s set up where I pinch the top button and top volume button meaning I have to grab the top corner together with fingers on both hands and doesn’t feel easy to do in hand and I have to rest the tablet on my stomach to hold pressure while pressing. Old method better and more secure using the two palms of my hand on two opposite ends of the tablet made it much easier to hold without feeling like the tablet is gonna fly out of my hand, or fall on the ground. Also the old method was easy, either horizontally or vertically. I guess I have to get used to it if I can’t fix it in settings, which I know there are a few settings like that which I need to explore. So I’ve heard it before, and now I agree, Apple needs to bring back the button!!!
