But in dark images with small bright highlights you can see some backlight blooming. 120hz refresh is always welcome, but know that macbook displays usually have pretty bad pixel response times so fast moving content tends to blur. Apple should move to OLED displays, this would fix their pixel response and backlight blooming. Memory Storage: 18GB RAM does the job well, even for AI model stuff (stable diffusion, up to 13b llama models). The 1TB SSD is adequate, though I would've liked more without the Apple tax... Performance-wise, it's comparable to high-end PCIE4 M.2 NVMe drives. Battery Charging: Battery life is good, lasts all day for light tasks, but anything that uses rosetta translation or gpu drains it much faster. Magsafe is great to have back, but the magnet feels too strong - worried it might damage the port or finish over time.

It's built like a tank when closed, and even when it's been running for a while the metal exterior always stays cool. I think the power saving must work really well too, as the battery percentage barely moves when I shut the lid and leave it on for a day or so. The display is incredible, and I have no problems reading even the tiniest text with my 35 year old eyes. There's been nothing in the way of lag or freezing, even when running multiple applications at once. I use it for audio processing and recording, and bought it hoping that it would handle large audio files flawlessly, which it does. The device itself was from 2015 and is now unsupported. What does this mean for the tech unsavvy? This is not a secure device. The security controls that Apple is known for will not be effective on this device this leaves everything on the device easily open to compromise. That means any passwords, credit cards, whatever, are open to being easily hacked. Only secure option is to wipe the current OS and install a Linux based OS. I love the Apple OS design so intuitive and just downright pretty but you can’t use this with the installed OS. I bought this computer to help me for an exam at school. I didn’t want to spend to much money on a new computer so I purchased this one. Sadly, the following series of events happened back to back:- The computer came uncharged, but when I plugged in the charger, it started making this horrendous high pitched sound that never stopped till I disconnected the charger from the wall.- When the computer turned on, I was asked to put in my Apple iCloud information. I put in my information and then there was a glitch on the computer that was not letting me move on. I decided to restart the iCloud log in process, but when I typed in my same information again, it told me it was incorrect. The Laptop and ‘Air Pods’

I got the laptop, and it looks practically brand new! It only has one little tiny scuff in the top left corner, but that is totally OK, I bought mine with a warranty, so it can get repaired and it’ll be brand new, amazing Laptop works great. Only thing I have to do is update it from a really old update that was on the laptop which I totally understand and it works. Amazingly nothing is broken nothing looks damaged. It looks brand new, the I guess you could call them AirPods but I guess wireless headphones that came with. It are pretty sheet you know pretty cheap, but that’s to be expected, They don’t have a good click, they don’t sound amazing, but it still fun. Be very careful ordering refirb items. My product description said “normal wear/tear” causing a very false hope %26 disappointment in what the product looked like when it arrived. Scratched/scuffed all over product, some deeply; dents in top; %26 letters carved in the bottom. So disappointed in how Walmart approved this item to be resold on its App. See the pictures. Walmart asso said that shouldnt of been on Walmart for refirb resale- %26 fedex was like wow can not believe walmart allowed this.
