I absolutely love the versatile style of these boots. The stitching isn't prominent, but does add something special to the look, so they can go from dressy to casual with ease. I liked the way that there is a nice arch support. I will say that they ran a bit too small for me, and regrettably the company did not have any available in my size for exchange (I would have needed a half size larger). Sorry that I have not been able to track down the size that I need, because I would really have enjoyed these boots.

Extremely happy with my Ariat Darlin BootsThe burnt sugar is a very nice light tan in colour & is slightly darker at the toe with a balayage effect lighter for the rest of the boot. I normally wear a size 6.5/7BI chose the 7.5W after reading the side chart and they fit me perfectly. Delivery was exceptionally fast, the customer service was great also.I love these boots

Beautiful boots! I wear them almost every single day. They’re awesome for a more casual fit when I don’t want to wear my taller boots. I wear wrist boots almost every day! They are a little small, I usually wear a 6 but get a 6.5 in the rounded toe boots. My square toe are a 6 but pointed tend to fit smaller.

I'm confused if my boots are labeled wrong because all these other reviews are talking about people's feet slipping out of the boot and I literally can not even shove my foot into this 10W. I regularly wear size 10 sneakers and boots and decided to get the wide so I could be sure that heavy socks fit and there is no way on earth this pair of boots would fit me. I'm not going to get another size because I don't trust this company now. I could tell just by looking at them that they weren't going to fit, I tried them on with thin summer socks, just to be sure and my right foot did not even fit in the boot. I'll be returning these promptly and shopping with another brand to find a replacement. Also, the quality of the leather looks cheap. I read a review that said the wide is really a normal size, where the normal size is narrow. Unfortunately I didn't listen and bought them anyways. I want to confirm what other reviewers have written, THEIR WIDE IS NOT WIDE! This is my first time buying boots from Ariat and I am hoping and praying this isn't true for all of their wide boots, otherwise this won't be a brand I can wear. I am returning these and trying another boot out before I give up. Hope this helps the TRULY wide footed females out there. Super cute boots. Didn't realize it had a zipper. Heal is higher than expected... this would be a good work boot. More for dress up.
These boots are just what their name says... darlin! The heel is just high enough but not too high. The dark brown color is gorgeous. Like other reviewers I found the toe of the boot was quite tight. It's going to take a while to break these in, so I'm just wearing them half hour at a time. They run true to size (I always take 9.5 in Ariat) BUT they are narrow. I don't usually wear Wide and wish they had Wide sizes left in this style. As it is, I'll keep wearing them until they give a bit.

I worked a weekend event and figured it would be the perfect chance to break them in for a few hours, then change to a spare in the car. I ended up wearing them throughout the entire weekend, they worked great with dress slacks, skinny jeans and even a casual dress. It was a brutally hot weekend and the lower cut and shaft width prevented over heating. I was a bit rushed to have new black boots, so I ordered a half size up to “play it safe”, I almost regretted it as they had more than a little heel slip, but I kept them and it was a relief to have them a bit loose and have some mobility when standing all day/walking miles. The boots were beautiful and the fit was perfect. I have a very hard time finding boots to fit. My foot is just barely wide enough for "wide" sizes. Most of the time wide sizes end up too big while normal sizing is too small or requires alot of stretching. But these boots were perfect right out the box!

Very cute and trendy with jeans, dress, or leggings. Ive bought many Ariat shoes and boots a few years ago. This pair is " different" durability. Normally black or brown leather boots scuff, not peel on the toe. The first couple days I wore them, the black toe is peeling as though an overlay of leather. Its not leather all the way thru like the rest of my boots Honestly, For the cost of a boot-, its disappointing that the boot doesnt just scuff instead of peel. I still wear them regardless. They were not inexpensive. Fairly comfortable, and breathable. Able to wear for most of the day or an evening out. They broke in nice. No blisters with thin socks. Weigh wise, heavier than the loafers, not a heavy as a full boot.
