Birkenstock Arizona is the best summer shoe. Once you have found the right size and width fitting you will appreciate the comfort. I am on my feet all day these make the job easier. The soft bed version is marginally more comfortable, but these are great too. Excellent sale price. The silver is fun and burka Flor synthetic uppers hold their shape better than leather.

I already own a pair of the Birkenstock clogs which I absolutely love and wear all the time. I just wanted something a bit different and to wear in the summer, and I knew these were perfect for what I wanted.Super comfy & true to size. The came in 2 days!I purchased the Olive Green (Khaki) Colour and they go with almost everything!

The info for this shoe is incorrect on the site. It explicitly says that it’s not a narrow fit even though the box says it’s a narrow fit. These are definitely narrow fit shoes. I thought I could break them in and they’d eventually get comfortable, but they didn’t since they’re designed for a different foot type entirely. Be careful buying Birkenstock from DSW.

I have owned Birkenstocks in the past and they are always very good. These look great and arrived and looked just as good as the picture. I love the colour. Unfortunately, as many have already said on here I had to return them because they were a narrow fit not regular.I was told by the customer service that if I ordered them again, they will be regular because they come up as regular on the system. After returning and re-ordering three times I have now given up. I was told by the last customer service person that there were some more coming in in August but I would need to phone back to see if they were regular or narrow fit. I’ve owned many pairs of Birkenstocks and I’ve never had such an uncomfortable pair before. I only wore them less than an hour and I have multiple blisters. They are really cute. They fit well. I’m hoping they “break in” but the problem is I know I’m never going to want to put them on again because they hurt!I usually wear an 8.5-9 M and bought size 39. The fit isn’t the issue — with adjustable straps they have a great fit.
Lots of people swear by the comfort and quality of Birkenstocks. The quality is definitely very good, the colour great, but , for my feet, they are very uncomfortable. I tried 2 sizes but, alas, the ridged part at the side felt very hard against my toes. I know it has more to do with the shape of my foot than the product, and as I said, many friends find them extremely comfortable. Alas, I had to return them.
Sadly I had to return them. I am a size 5 and tbf they were perfect size. The quality I felt, wasn't the birkenstock feel I know, it felt strange. I loved the brown colour. This colour would go with anything and I chose it as something different to black! I have seen this colour being worn with different outfits and thought 'yeah' that's lovely.. SADLY, I returned them as the narrow is narrow! And they were very uncomfortable. The material felt a bit weird to me too, almost plastic/lino/pretend leather, that was my first impression btw ~ not for me but I would def recommend people try...
I’m becoming a Birks convert. This is my third pair. Though the traditional two strap is not my favorite style, the gold on these is perfect. Muted with just enough shine. Typical Birks comfort. No complaints. Glad that the buckles are always adjustable. I have slightly narrow feet so I just made them tighter and they’re perfect.
I bought in store to make sure the silver toppers weren't too stiff. The inside of the topper feels like felt, not too stiff at all. I'm still breaking in the cork footbed, and that was to be expected. It took me about six months to break in my last pair of birk's, and I'm sure this will be about the same. I compared the comfort of the Arizona to the Sydney, and for my wide foot, the Arizona was the winner, even though I liked the topper on the Sydney better. Anyway, the silver goes with everything and I'm happy with my purchase! I have wide short feet -- I usually wear a street size 9 in shoes, but I was able to size down to a 38 in these. I wouldn't have known that would work without trying them on
I've been wearing this style of Birkenstock for 40+ years now and can't recommend them highly enough if you have/have had a back problem, or are anxious to avoid one. Not the prettiest, but the most practical. Bought to get ready to replace my 15 year old black Birkenstocks, which are still going strong. My only criticism of this particular model is that the upper strap seems to be cut a fraction higher, but as the leather softens with wear this will improve. These sandals will feel strange if you are not used to them, but when you've worn them in you'll wonder why everyone isn't wearing them.
