A quick review on the @giorgioarmani code perfume that I purchased from @ultabeauty in December. I've always wanted to try a perfume from ulta and I saw this one on sale. I went to the store and asked for a tester but they didn't have one. I took it any ways and started using it right away. It's has a nice mature scent but too strong for me. I'm more into light fruity scent so after a week I started to notice this wasn't my type of perfume. I still continued to use this because I was determined to make sure. After almost 3 weeks I came to the conclusion that in fact this perfume isn't for me. The scent last up to 3 to 4 hours on my clothes. Like I mentioned before a nice strong mature scent but TOO STRONG that after an hour or two I start to get headaches. This perfume completely won me over! It starts with a light yet vibrant citrus note that gently melts into soft jasmine and orange blossom. This is my 2nd favorite Armani Code Flanker next to Armani Code Satin. This is a sensuelle (not sexy like Satin), sophisticated, deep , warm version of the original Armani Code. It has some very interesting notes that makes this perfume very alluring and unique. It opens with powdery florals like jasmine and orange blossom followed by the creaminess and nuttiness from the almond milk and heliotrope; and at the base notes you get that warmth and richness from the leather notes, suede and a tiny bit of a incense. There happens to be patchouli and iris which I don’t seem to get at all. Performance wise it is far better than the original and has a very good projection and sillage. I used to wear this a lot, for about 15 years.However since my previous bottle bought recently, the formula has clearly changed. The fragrance does not last anymore, it's not just my skin. You can't smell it lingering on your clothes anymore.They've clearly watered it down, I'm not buying another bottle and will try to find a new favourite.
I can recommend Armani Code for fresh summer days. I had tried first time at the airport and it had felt beautiful. I bought it from Douglas and it feels a bit different then the first try. Maybe different production lines? I do not know. But it is a nice parfum anyways.
Armani Code for women is a timeless classic. A scent with the perfect balance of depth and freshness. While I’ve tried many perfumes over the years, nothing compares to Armani Code. After I ordered the perfume I went back and started reading the comments from this particular seller. I read a review that said that they ordered the same perfume that I did, and got ripped off. They said the perfume smelled like alcohol, and it wasn’t how the product normally smells.Well, I couldn’t agree more!In fact, there were a lot more negative reviews than positive period. So with that I tried canceling my order. At that point (4 days after ordering) it still hadn’t even been shipped out for delivery. They had advertised next day shipping. When I spray it on before a double shift at work, I can still smell it when I’m ready to go home. Not the case with this.I will never order from this seller again. I do not have a lot of money to begin with and it took me some time just to be able to set aside the money to afford my normally favorite perfume. I have kids to support so having perfume is more a luxury to me. What a disappointment.People just love ripping other people off these days. It’s getting too common. I blame myself partly for not reading the reviews before hand. But if you’re ordering from a legit business it should have to be this way. If I were Walmart I would ban this seller period!
