Teacher here, not a runner anymore. I have high arches and am on my feet literally at least 8 hours a day at two schools. These shoes are making my life better! This is my second pair. I loved them so much, I needed another color. They are the only shoe I have been able to wear with no foot pain. The combo of perfect support with super cushioning is a win-win. They also seem durable though I'm only a few months into use. I highly recommend these for on your feet work.

With the passing of the GlideRide, I started running in the Superblast which are a superb all around running shoe. In the past, I ran in the Nimbus so I decided the give the latest version a shot. I am a 20+ mile a week runner with a mid-foot stride and vary my pace from brisk walking, to running, to fartlek intervals. I run in two terrains: flat coastal routes and urban mixed surface with rolling hills. At this point, I have over 160 miles in the Nimbus. It is a beautiful colorway. This shoe is extremely comfortable forefoot to heel thanks to the FF Blast+ and PureGel. The upper is breathable with an ample forefoot room. The stretchy tongue is comfortable and aids in the wrap feel of the upper. Plenty of out-sole left and no noticeable breakdown of the mid-sole at this point. For brisk walking this shoe is a joy. However, I find running in this shoe awkward in the motion from mid-to-front foot strike. It doesn't roll through to toe-off without a feel of stride dampening. This is not associated with FF Blast+ compression or "softness." It is more about the design of the wider heel perhaps. For me, this causes a bit of knee strain not experienced in other Asics shoes. Bottom line, the Nimbus 26 was relegated to walking shoe status. Looking forward to the SuperBlast 2 drop.

I’ve had these shoes for several weeks now. I’ve had terrible issues with plantar fasciitis for the past 2 years, including surgery 4 months ago. These shoes have been amazing!! I wear them for 12 hour shifts and my feet never hurt!! Highly recommend them!!

I love these shoes! I was training in another good brand of running shoe and was suffering knee pain. I changed to the ASICS Nimbus and my knee pain is gone. The comfiest shoe I’ve ever worn! I love them so much I bought them in a different colour! Love these shoes! Love the way they lace up, even the laces! Love the mint and ice blue colours. Awesome shoes!
I have worn ASICS gel Nimbus for years. I have walked/ran with these shoes, have always loved them. Put the new 26 on and went for a mile walk they made my feet and legs hurt. Thought it was maybe something unforeseen was causing this. A couple days later went for another 1 mile walk legs and feet hurt bad. The worst tennis shoes I have ever had an I am 61 years old. Ordered a new pair of Hokas. I will wear Hocus from now on. There was no support on the new 26 ASICS. Very disappointed wouldn’t have even rated it one, but there were no zeros.
Long time fan of ASICS for running as they’re typically supportive and offer a cushion run. I’ve had knee surgery so this is important to me. I recently ordered the Nimbus 26 and I’m very disappointed. The cushions feels like a horseshoe under my feet and I’ve ran in them several times to “break” them in but I’ve ended up with blisters on the bottom of balls of my feet. The balance seems off and the cushion is there but it impacts my stride and I’ve had to stop from the friction underfoot on long distance runs. Not sure what’s changed but I’m left with useless running shoes and have gone back to my old ASICS. Don’t recommend
They look great. Took a while to get used to the soft feel as I usually run in firmer shoes but they feel good especially after about 10km. Developed a blister under my left ankle but this is a problem I have with many shoes so probably my foot shape rather than an issue with the shoe - resolved with sock choice and taping. Using them for long runs 20km + and plan to use them in upcoming 100km and 150km road races.
Extremely comfortable shoe - surprisingly supportive and so extremely soft. Feels like I'm just walking on memory foam and the bottoms give a great bounce to my step. Very very happy with my purchase. I'm a nurse and these are my work shoes. Beautiful colour contrasts I get a lot of compliments, these are my new favourite shoe.
This is my first pair of ASICS. The nimbus is a very cushioned show which makes it very nice to run or walk in. Runs feel very relaxed in this shoe which is exactly what I was looking for. The shoe does have some drawbacks in my opinion. My biggest complaints are the heel tab and the inner lining in the Achilles area. The heel tab is very thin and feels fairly flimsy, especially when using any force to pull the shoe on. At one point it felt like the small amount of stitching that attaches it onto the shoe was going to tear. The inner lining of the shoe is very comfortable but after only about 10 miles, I am noticing the liner in the area that makes contact with my Achilles area is already beginning to wear down. I am an avid runner and bought this pair of running shoes hoping to make them my Marathon running shoes. Unfortunately that will not be the case. They are bulky, heavy and just loud. I have worn them on 4 separate runs and 4 different distances and still feel the same way. They also gave me blisters on the little toe next to my big toe. I'm very disappointed as the running shoe I was hoping to replace is a also an Asics shoes, and I absolutely love it(but it's worn out now) But these shoes have really let me down technically. And also considering how much I paid for them, I am just shattered.
