I absolutely love these shoes! I have worn just about every stability shoe and these are my favorite ever. I run about 12 miles a week and these are so lightweight, comfortable and supportive.

Dear Asics: I've been wearing your gel-kayanos for many years - I have loved them and appreciated that my sneaker search was over when I found them. However, Asics is conforming to the rocker bottom shoes for reasons I can't understand. I simply can't wear these, they just hurt. If you want to make sneakers with a rocker bottom, please make a different pair, but please give us the gel-kayanos back! Thank you.

Loving this shoe. I am a neutral to slight pronation runner and this fits the bill . Soft but I do not feel like I'm walking in sand. Can feel more support than with my Bondi 8 and no pain in hips, knees, or ankles. Body feels great the day after with no back/leg pain. Switching to Asics full time.

At first I felt like the soles is n these ASICS were huge! Like moon-shoes! But then I walked 2-3 miles several different days and got used to them. I walked 3 miles today and told my friend that I could walk forever in them. They are well cushioned but not to an excess. Nice stability.
They offer a lot of cushion however the bottom of my feet still hurt at the end of my work shift wearing these. For me the tow box is also narrow where I’m feeling somePain and discomfort
I’ve worn Kayano’s for years. I have flat feet and flare ups of plantar fasciitis. The new design of the 30 is a real disappointment. Initially, they feel great. They have a lots of cushioning and I recently learned if you have a flat foot you should buy a wide shoe. I did that and thought I found the perfect shoe. But then I put some walking miles on them and noticed my midsoles were in a lot of pain. Then my heel pain started to flare up. And my arches were killing me. All of the arch support that were in previous versions is gone. I don’t think this whole ‘maximum cushioning’ trend is the greatest thing for people with flat feet. We need some cushioning, but we also need some support. I’m going to try Brooks adrenaline. I hope they work. My feet are killing me.
I was excited to find a shoe offered in my size (11.5 wide - women’s) but these were not a good shoe for me. I couldn’t even make it a mile into my first run with them before I had to give up and take them off. They were very uncomfortable. I have heard great things about this shoe from some of my friends that have them, but they just weren’t for me. I have never returned shoes to Fleet Feet before, but I had to for these.
the shoes are probably great if it’s the right fit for your foot but these were a horrible recommendation for me. I run on the outsides of my feet and these were recommended for me despite being for overpronation. They caused blisters and shin splits. I really liked how cushioned they were but overall not for my feet.
I bought these 6 months ago and wear them for 13 hours at a time (labor nurse who’s standing and walking ALL day). Was surprised by the reviews… so far these are about as comfy as my Hokas and have seemed to hold up better than my Hoka Bondis. I usually have hip pain when shoes start to wear down, but none so far. I’m impressed an repurchasing them!
Great shoe. Great looking shoe. Great performer. Love the subtle silver coloring, so this shoe goest with everything, but is a great summer white. The Gel-Kayano is still my go to!
