Amazing Shoe

These shoes are amazing!!! I have closets full of running shoes and these are the best I have ever ran in. I had the original Superblast and these are much better. Just the right amount of cushion and responsiveness.

Amazing cushion and stability. My new daily.

Great shoes. After a recent injury took me out of my less-stacked daily trainers, these have been amazing. The cushioning is supportive and springy, helping me get back on the road and having a blast! Pun intended :)

PSA: I am a beginner runner and on my first cardio session of 2024. Went through an health scare, I decided to change my lifestyle. If anyone is familiar with Runna app, I’m using this shoe in the “NTR” training plan. 1st week of running, I had shin splints. It’s been 3 years since I’ve done any cardio activity. Currently on the 2nd week of training, it’s been great with no pain and my running session is getting a bit easier. Clocked in around 8-9miles on this shoe. I am hoping to run a half marathon by December. I’d love to purchase an all white edition for race day. This is my first ever “running” shoe.

Buy then if you can

Seriously-ruined the rest of my running shoes for me. They are all I want to put on. Comfy, bouncy. And I can pick up the pace on speed days. Literally the Swiss Army knife of shoes.

Great shoe!!!
4 September 2024

I bought the Paris version and just got a second pair in black. It’s a great running shoe. I run around 15 miles 5 days a week sometimes more. I alternate with the nimbus 26 and cumulus 25. Both of those shoes are great but the Superblast 2 is on another level of comfort and performance. The shoe is well made and after a month of nearly daily runs no wear and tear to mention.

One Shoe To Rule Them All
6 October 2024

Absolutely love the Superblast 2. I have done every type of run in this (including some accidental light trail running in the AZ Red Rocks) and it has delivered. Feels equally comfortable at easy paces and tempo paces. Long runs, workouts, you name it, it can handle it! Feels maybe a bit more firm and responsive than V1 and my feet are happier for it. Also more breathable than V1 and a little extra tongue padding around the ankle takes away a bit of lace bite I experienced in V1 as well. Going to be on my feet for NYC 2024!

This is the one!

I've been a regular runner for about 4 years now, 30-40 miles a week ish. If i could only have one shoe for all of my runs, this is it. Despite the stack height, it remains shockingly light and nimble. Turn over feels fast and responsive, while still provided the plush cushion you'd expect from a shoe like this. Highly recommend.

Tip of the mid toes rub again toe box.
27 September 2024

Tip of the mid toes rub again toe box; I went for a size up and then the shoes is too loose.ASICS, could you reshape it as Novablast 4’s toe box? Current SuperBlast 2 toe box is too pointy.I am not enjoying leaving this review because these shoes are nearly perfect, so.. ASICS please take this as a constructive, or opportunity for model 3.

Toe Box too Narrow
27 September 2024

Really wanted to like these shoes. Ordered my usual size 10-½ when the Paris color way launched but felt that all of my toes were being pressed together by the toe box. Wants to try a half size up but by that point the shoe was completely sold out. Was excited when the Black colorway launched so I could try an 11. To my disappointment, my last 3 toes on each foot felt like they were pressed up against the front / medial side of the toe box. My Saucony ES4’s, and Adidas PXS1’s are all TTS and don’t have this issue, so disappointed that even at a half size up that the shape of the toe box made this an instant return for me.

Top Rated Running Shoe & Light as a Feather!
2 October 2024

I bought the black pair a couple of weeks ago and ran, averaging 40+ miles weekly on the elliptical and outside on the pavement. After 80+ miles, the shoes still feel excellent, and Superblast 2 is the best running shoe I have owned. For the last 15 years, I have loved, trained and competed wearing the Kayano's but wanted a much lighter shoe still high-quality, durable, and supportive. I needed a top-rated running shoe that could take a beating, as I average 500 miles every 3-4 months on the elliptical and outside on the pavement. I did not expect the shoes to be so incredibly lightweight, a stark difference from the Kayanos, yet they feel exceptionally durable and supportive. I plan to buy another pair of Superblast 2's in a different color and look forward to ... MoreI bought the black pair a couple of weeks ago and ran, averaging 40+ miles weekly on the elliptical and outside on the pavement.
