The fruity, citrusy combination smell did feel very season appropriately (summer) and I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing and very feminine. However, after 3mins (if that long) the scent completely faded. Being as though I’ve been wearing perfumes my entire life, I know a few tricks to making the scent last longer. You know, spraying the perfume on your hair as hair trap the scents for longer lasting smell and the nape of your neck, etc. Perfume wearers know the tricks. Those did not work with this perfume. While it smells good, it isn’t long lasting. The good thing though, is that you are able to put it in your bag and take it with you so you can reapply throughout your day, but to be honest, it’s not at all worth it since it will fade within a minute or two. The packaging is adorable and for however short a time it lasts, the fragrance is quite lovely. So 3 stars.

I see the genius that Atelier was trying to accomplish. And kudos to them for trying to pull off a hard project. My honest opinion, I see more of the female type going to buy this fragrance, more than the male buying. Now to me besides the scent, it’s all about presentation, (that’s a big factor to me when I judge any product) since it’s the first thing you see. Now Atelier did a great job in that department with the Amber-hued cologne encased in a Luxe Fragrance Bottle made of clear French glass (talk about Class) and adorned with a handmade leather cap, to top it off! FF: did you know that the name “Orange Sanguine” in French, means Blood Orange. Even though that’s something small, it’s those special touches that makes a product unique. Now for the “Meaning behind the Fragrance” picture this; inspired by Citrus in the Air, this unisex perfume evokes the relaxed vibe of breakfast on a sunny terrance in Positano. The laid-back fruity perfume combined with the wildly cologne base creates a long-lasting fragrance for those who appreciate the good life. A lovely blend of notes that’ll dance there way into your heart. It’s romantic, great for a date night too. Now for my HONEST opinion, sure the story, and presentation are very luxurious the smell is not bad when you first smell it. But 1. I don’t see most men wearing it, even woman for that matter. To me it didn’t seem to last all day, it didn’t even seem to last for as long as an hour, Which is a shame. But that’s why I’m here to let the people know “my opinion”. Now other people might say different. I wouldn’t recommend it, however I would tell someone to test it out for themselves first, before purchasing it. Other than that I’d give it 5 stars all around, but I’m not here to review a fragrance for its looks and lovely fragrance notes, it’s how it comes out all together. But I shall leave it up to my fellow Influenster’s to decide for themselves.

I'm not typically a floral perfume person and I personally cannot detect the geranium but I'm sure it adds to the scent. I also detect a little Sandalwood scent in there but I don't see that listed as a key note, maybe a bottom note? Anyways, this scent is fresh but also very musky and sexy, I truly feel all genders can wear this in all seasons, it's that good. So, I’m a fragrance snob. I love fragrance, and this one is definitely for the fresh, citrus fans out there! I love that it’s 91% natural origin sourced. This fragrance was made with blood orange from Italy, Geranium from China, and Sandalwood from Australia! I love that attention to detail. Upon researching the brand, they have many different fragrances I’m interested in trying. I truly love discovering new things! I also love the size of this, as I can pop it in my evening bag, so it’s perfect for freshening up on those hot summer nights! Extra points because this is a spritz, and not a rollerball! If you want to feel like you are sipping on a fresh mimosa on a balcony overlooking the French rivera, this is for you. 🍊✨🥵

A very refreshing and citrusy scent. Top notes of blood and bitter orange, white floral mid notes, and a base of sandalwood, amber, and tonka bean adds up to a very easy to wear scent. Freshly sprayed it smells like a freshly cut orange, and as it dries down it transforms into something closer to the smell of oils you get from citrus peel when you express it over a cocktail. It leans very sweet, but in a citrusy way - no sour or ascorbic notes at all. The sandalwood and amber give it just the right hit of sexiness at the end of the scent. I find this lasts decently well, about four hours on me, and a moderate sillage. Great in the spring and summer and could potentially be layered with spicier scents for a “Christmas Orange” vibe in the fall and winter.

I received this travel sized spray as a gift with purchase of another Atelier Cologne. It is not a scent I would have purchased on my own even though I like most citrus scents. It includes notes of blood orange, bitter orange, and blood mandarin blended with geranium, jasmine, cedar, Tonka bean, pepper and amber. It’s quite complex but just not ‘sweet’ enough for my tastes. I often see it described as “just like fresh-squeezed orange juice” but unfortunately it does not blend with my body chemistry to produce that result. I get a more floral and wood combo.

I am completely in love with this perfume!! It smells just like fresh oranges along with slightly musky notes, to make a very warm yet fresh scent. This scent can totally be worn by a man or a woman (and everything in between). My boyfriend smelled it on me and asked to use it also! I did receive this complimentary in exchange for my honest review, but that had no effect on my opinion. I wish this wasn't so expensive, but it only takes about 2 sprays and lasts for hours. It still smells just as wonderful after oxidizing on your skin. Love the clean ingredients and all the amazing scents this brand offers! I will recommend to all my friends, no matter what gender they identify as!

Atelier Cologne is said to be known for its high-quality citrus fragrances so this one is no exception: a gorgeous bright, realistic citrus (orange) scent that is so cooling, refreshing invigorating on a hot summer day. High-quality, natural ingredients. Part of my large Atelier Cologne collection - I was happy to find several scents from this brand on Maxaroma since they are no longer being sold/ distributed in the US.
