The cream soothes and protects very dry and itchy skin but is also suitable for eczema prone skin. Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream moisturises the skin for up to 24h and it provides immidiate relief to dry and irritated skin.. I also love that it has unscented formula and nice texture which absorbs easily. Just simply perfect for everyday/evening use. This 200ml Emollient is just like a magic cream. Before I started using it, I was having a few issues - the metal catch on my bra was starting to itch and my hands had started to flare up. I never really use unscented cream, but it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. I suffer from eczema on my hands and I work in a kitchen. I can feel the different immediately when I put it on the first time.The texture is rich and moist, but it’s not sticky. I used ‘working hand’ a lot but that’s really thick and my skin would go so red after putting it on.I used Aveeno Dermexa for few days, the redness is significantly reduced. Obviously it didn’t make it go away But I feel it is improving. I will keep trying for longer time and see if it will really help.I always like Aveeno brand and I am pleased to be able to try this out and hope this could be the cream helps me getting through the winter in the uk. The word emollient makes me think of an ultra greasy cream. This is not the case with this Aveeno product as it absorbed quickly and did not leave any stickiness on the surface. I have been using it for a month and there's still around a quarter left inside which only means a little goes a long way.The cream sinks into the skin easily without too much rubbing. I do like this body wash however I don't think it is for me. On the plus side the scent is not at all intrusive and very mild. The body wash feels nice on the skin and leaves you feeling really clean. If you are expecting to get a good lather then this one is not for you. I found the best way to use it is to use my bare hands rather than any cloth or sponge. Unfortunately I think this uses more product meaning that I will be buying body wash more often. If you have super sensitive skin a really do recommend you give this a go as it is not drying at all, however, if you want that lather effect I would opt for a different body wash.
I work outdoor and suffer in particular from extremely dry hands as a result. The emollient cream was fab for relieving this dryness. It took a couple of weeks to really start to notice a significant difference. But after 4 weeks trying the cream my hands look and feel so much better. A little goes a long way and dependent on pricing it would be something I’d continue to use. I also like that it is unscented and it absorbs very quickly and leaves my hands feeling and looking so much better. My extremely sensitive skin was also not irritated by the product so a real bonus. Would recommend that people give it a try.
I am black, going through menopause and have eczema and very dry skin. I had seen Aveeno products and was keen to try.Good points: I was extremely impressed with how long this cream provided moisture, pretty much all day (8am - 8pm).No itching, scratching or bad reaction so all good.The consistency is good, not too thin and spread well over the body. Also it was not oily - lotions for extra dry skin tend to be oily so this was a plus for my clothes.Not so good points: Despite the performance of the product being superb it was somewhat let down by the fishy smell. Although the smell would dissipate once on the skin, it was a minor negative. If this could be improved I would buy this product because it's convenient to use.
