I have been loving this AVENE Revitalizing Nourishing Cream. It initially feels like quite a heavy face cream but it goes on so smoothly and has such a light silky feel once absorbed into my face. This cream has been an absolute life saver during this winter as I get dry flaky skin around my nose and lips but have not struggled with dry skin at all with daily use. Also haven't noticed my skin being oily or any breakouts with continued daily use. No reaction on my somewhat sensitive skin. My skin looks healthier, softer and it seems to have also minimized my fine lines, what a win! The fragrance is also clean and subtle. Would recommend as a great all-rounder, every-day moisturiser for those who have slightly dryer, combination-skin.

Awakened My Dull Tired Skin!

My skin has loved this product over the past couple of weeks. My skin has been looking quite tried and dull lately due to lack of sleep and busy schedule. I have been applying this to my face after cleansing first up in the morning and then applying generously again at night after showering before bed.The texture is very light and smooth and feels soft and gentle on tired skin. My skin is not dry, however not oily either so I feel like this product gives my skin a good balance of moisture to my skin, leaving it feeling nourished and soft and over the past few weeks looking more myself again, if not better!I found the product a sorbed into my skin fairly quickly. The Berry Extract, Vitamin E and Thermal Spring Water are appealing ingredients and anti ageing antioxidants are always welcome in my skincare routine!Recommend! Worth it.

Did not moisturize, heavy fragrance

I bought this because my skin was getting much drier during this transition to winter. I would put this on at night and in the morning my face would feel papery and dry. I would reapply and mid morning my skin was dry and even peeling/sloughing from the dryness. I was so dry on my chin area around my lips, my forehead, my nose and in front of my ears. My boyfriend convinced me to try his cetaphil face lotion and the dryness and peeling on my face stopped the next day. I still get small eczema patches, but the dry patches are much more controlled since I discontinued this lotion. I like the scent to the lotion but it is strong and probably contributing to my skin's reaction.

I have received multiple compliments

I have received multiple compliments since I started using this cream in combination with the Cleanance Cleansing Gel. People say I look "fresh faced". My boss told me I looked 35. That was funny. I am 47. Love it. It was also the only cream that I could put on my horrible sunburn that didn't sting. It kept me from peeling as well, so Win/Win. Totally worth it.

I really like this revitalizing

I really like this revitalizing rich cream, because it is very calming and easy to apply to the face, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. It does not irritate at all and has no perfumes or scents except what May be natural ingredients, but I scented really or my skin would get red - which it does not at all. I will continue to use the rich during summer b/c it feels so good and I want to keep fine lines from becoming more noticeable. Please keep this formula around for a long time. I had to change to this product after a previous one was discontinued. Glad this is equally rich and creamy… if not better! .

My forever favorite moisturizer

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used in my life, this is the 2nd time I get it and I will never go back. I have combination skin (very oily in the t-zone and very dry/sensitive skin in the rest of my face) and it works throughout the seasons. I love the soft texture and the richness (not too rich), it spreads out beautifully and it's non-comedogenic, I have way less texture in my face (also because of the rest of my skincare routine) I'm usually not a fan of flowery/powdery scents but this one is perfect since it doesn't linger and dissipates shortly after the skin absorbs it.

Not for those with fragrance sensitive rosacea

The box states it is for dry sensitive skin, but if you have rosacea or eczema you will not be able to use this product due to the fragrance. So the marketing is misleading. I have had some success with their Tolerance control cream but wanted to try something a little heavier for the winter months. After trying the cream I immediately got a headache from the scent and my cheeks started to burn with irritation. Definitely not for sensitive skin.

Scented but still worked for my facial eczema

I was born with eczema; it's a moving target for me. I was on a routine with using cerave foaming moisturizing cleanser and gold bonds colloidal oatmeal lotion on my face exclusively. When spring comes I usually get a breakout and my colloidal oatmeal lotion was not cutting it. Saw an ad for this and gave it a shot the day before a family party. Took my skin from crusty and red to smooth and dewy overnight. It does have a fancy old lady smell, which I can live with. Usually fragrance lights up my eczema but not this. Worth a try if you get eczema on your face!

I've never been diagnosed but, I suspect I was dealing with a form of dermatitis. It felt like nothing that was working prior was working now and I couldn't get enough moisture in my skin. I live in a very dry climate and also have dry skin. I noticed that several products I was using contained hyaluronic acid which after doing some research I learned can make your skin drier if you live in a climate that does not have humidity to pull from the air down into the skin. I pulled everything from my routine containing HA and started using this cream am & pm. In 3 days my skin now feels supple, calm and hydrated. Breakouts and scales are completely gone. The cream is rich without feeling greasy and feels very elegant on the skin. I only have 2 complaints, the scent and the packaging but neither are deal breakers for me. The scent is somewhat heavy but does dissipate after an hour or so. Smells like typical old-fashioned, luxury French cosmetics to me. I would prefer a more hygienic tube to the jar for sure and the cream isn't so thick that a tube would be impossible so I don't understand the jar choice. Once I finish it his I will purchase the Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Balm which comes in a tube and is not fragranced.
