Absolute joke. I ordered these for my partner as a Christmas present at the beginning of November. Wrapped them up and he was thrilled with them until he tried them on to discover they were huge (all his shoes are 10.5’s) been told I can’t return or exchange them because the time has passed. Explained that there was no way of knowing earlier because they were brought as a Christmas gift. I can’t afford to throw that kind of money away and it’s ruined his present cause I can’t exchange for a smaller size! ASOS HAVE JUST LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER!

I got these delivered an couple of days ago and I just opened the box. I bought the blue- and they are the most beautiful blue color boots I have ever seen. I'm so in love with them! With that being said, it's so difficult to put them on- I had to rig for a bit but I finally got them on. Leather is soft and I'm wearing them around the house to stretch the leather out before I go out in them. Heel is sturdy and their easy to walk in. David Bowie would totally approve of these. 💙

The only sandal that I wore in the 90's and early 2000's. Some how I moved on to mandals. No foul, love them both. There is a way that you work your toes in a Birkenstock that is different than other sandals. Don't buy them for style, buy them for the health of your feet. Crazy but the moment that I tried them on after several years it was like going home. They run large. I normaly wear a 43 but in these I run a 42. Don't get caught up on size just make sure your heal is planted in the foot bed and that your toes fit the web. An unchanged product after so many years. Almost unheard of.

Birkenstock - need I say more! Absolutely love this sandal. Give them a few weeks to break in and once you do, you won't be reaching for another shoe. These sandals have become my go-to from spring to fall (even sometimes in the winter). REI has a great selection of sizes and colors, though I continue to buy the same color time and time again. If you're deciding on your first pair, this is a can't miss.
This is my first pair and I'm anxiously anticipating when they are broken in. I usually buy a cushy type of sandal/shoe but keep coming back to these for the cute style. It's the exact look I wanted I almost purchased Dansko sandals that look like Birks but are a cushier footbed. In the end, I preferred the color in the Birkenstock. I chose the mocha with the rose gold buckles. These will be my go to sandals this summer so I hope I chose right. I'll give 5 stars because I know they are quality but I'm still unsure how supportive or comfortable they will be wearing all day. Wish me luck!! Happy Birthday to me!! Btw, I'm 58. Old feet!! I wear size 8 or 39.
Pretty good. Everything I expected for the excellent price.Authentic birkenstock sandals - however, not at the highest quality of other models. It is real suede and leather, but of a reconstructed type. The underside of the shoe (where it hits the floor) is made of a type of plastic.Durable, but not particularly luxurious or high quality.
Using these as my house slippers. The previous ones I had (also Birks) disintegrated after many years of use. I was so happy with them that I decided to get Birks again. The sippers are unmatched in quality (made in Germany, duh!) and are super comfortable. Note that there's about a week long break-in period and they will not feel great at first, so just be cognizant of that. One week later and they fit like a glove. Make sure you use the size chart provided on the Birkenstock website and actually take the time to measure your feet properly - it'll go a long way in making sure you'll be satisfied with them for many years to come.
Love love love these Birkenstocks.I've previously had a pair I wore nearly every day for 3 years. Decided to get a new pair recently. Not because they're worn down, (quite far from it!) but because of the big sizes. These always run big, HUGE! I'm usually a UK 8.5/ 9 but I've gone for a 7.5 because the old ones I felt were always a little too big. These new ones fit perfectly. **5 STARS**
I’ve seen these since high school back in the 90s. I’m flat footed and my wife and I each bought a pair to try. They are absurdly overpriced for cork and glue! 120 bucks. Since we work from home I wore mine everyday for 3 months. Super painful. I even wear orthotics but these were so painful to break in. After two months I got them where they were actually great and I thought to myself, this is what people talk about in terms of birks being so great, comfortable and formed to my feet. At 4 months the sole started separating. At 6 months they were no longer wearable and fell apart. Not to mention as they break in you have to keep punching holes in the strap. Absolutely garbage. I can’t believe people love these so much. The 5 star reviews must be wearing them lightly ... MoreI’ve seen these since high school back in the 90s. I still have an original pair of champs from 10yrs ago with toe loop and they have been worn hiking for years. I looked into resoling these but it costs 100 bucks so what’s the point?
Sad these have to get returned. I’m a huge Birk lover and have 5 pairs. I wanted a new black slide. This new leather is rough and painful. It’s not the old soft leather that doesn’t need much breaking in. I bought a second pair in hopes I just got a bogus pair but they both are stiff and rough so both have to get returned. Bummer but hopefully they change it back to the old style!
