Purchased my first pair of birkes this June..I like that they feel sturdy, they do have some good traction at the bottom so I won’t be doing any sliding around. I’m still getting used the to actual inside sole of the sandals..but apparently it’ll mold to my exact foot pattern. Seems like it does get dirty quick..which I accidentally got them wet from spilling something and it kinda left a stain. Either way still enjoy them right now. I do love the color comb. Got a psi for my hubs too..no complaints from him lol

Birkenstocks first time wearer. At first was discouraged bc they hurt the sides of my feet. My grands told me to break them in bc they conform to your foot and become comfortable. I’m finding after a few wears - the shoe is conforming to my feet and are feeling much better. But if my grands hadn’t warned me - I may have returned the shoes not knowing they do mold to the foot shape.

After wearing a knock off pair of shoes for a year I decided to invest in a pair of supportive Birkenstocks. I have flat feet and it did take time to break in the shoes. I did research before purchasing and knew this would be the case. I just wore them around the house while doing chores. They are now very comfortable. I also like having the ability to adjust the size of the straps.

Love these. This is my third pair (in 15 years), they are so comfortable that I am constantly wearing out the footbeds due to year-round use! I can wear them for extended periods of time, and go walking for several miles! GET THEM. (They're totally popular now and not just for us crunchy granola folk. Who knew socks and sandals would one day be cool?)
So I’m sure the quality and all might be German, which still doesn’t justify the outrageous price for flip flops but anyways, i decided to give them a try. I do love the style but the problem is that only Birk has this overly complicated sole which ended up just hurting my feet. My foot is not flat, not wide, not swollen just a plain old regular foot I could not believe how truly uncomfortable these were. My husband does have flat and wide feet and he hated men’s Birks too. My son liked his Birks but I returned them anyways in case they end up hurting, he has flat feet too and only wore his Birks in the store.
I'm hoping this review saves someone else the hassle of returning because the sizing is a bit misleading on Nordstrom's website. Birkenstock has two sizes: their 'Regular/Wide' size and their 'Medium/Narrow' size. These are the narrows. If you're used to the roomy fit of the Regular Birkenstock, these will feel too small/tight. Since Nordstrom doesn't offer the Regular fit, I am returning and buying elsewhere. I will keep purchasing from Nordstrom because customer service is top-notch, just wanted to provide some clarity for anyone else considering purchasing these!
This is the second pair I’ve bought after wearing out the first from constant wear. My chiropractor recommended them because of the support they offer. The first couple days they hurt your feet, but then they are great! Think of braces moving your teeth back to the right place; it hurts initially, but it’s good you did it. Run slightly large
I expected these sandals' footbed to be sooo comfty, BUT it isn't really.I just rec'd the m today and it feels like the sole needs to be broken in, which shouldn't be the case for slip ons in my opinion. I will be wearing them around my apt to see if they are suitable for outdoors. Also the sole is made of some sort material that doesn't have strong traction. I already felt my feet slipping a few times.
Narrow does NOT fit like a Women’s medium. I had to return these. I don’t know why the Arizona style does not come in regular fit like the other styles. These were way too narrow and I don’t have wide feet-I never get wide sizing. For the price, and the fact that the sizing is weird anyway (6-6.5, 7-7.5), you should definitely try these in before purchasing.
So far, so good. This is my 1st pair of leather birks. I am a size 10 in womens so purchased the 41 and they fit perfectly. I have the mens plastic version that run wider but these are not too narrow despite being narrower [I find the women's plastic version are too narrow vs the mens plastic ones]. Since these are new I can't attest to their longevity but hear good things about this brand. Meanwhile, they are comfy on despite my bunions. I got the stone which is a good neutral and love the rose gold hardware in contrast to the leather.
