I was amazed at how these shoes not only are comfortable and stylish but after wearing these, my pain is gone! I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone. They have great support. I was skeptical about birks. My daughter has two pairs and loves them. I was wanting something comfortable to wear during the day around the house so my feet don't hurt. I love them! My feet don't hurt, they don't feel like card board. I read too many reviews and really did over think the purchase until I just bought them and went from there. I will buy more pairs in the future!
Still getting broke in. Leather is soft. However, the "soft" insole is hard. Bummer!! This pair is about half size too large. Important placing foot and keeping it in proper position. Shouldn't be so difficult. I'm a usual 7.5 and 38 is half size large. I won't give up yet.This is part of Sweepstake question.
Love this pair of Birks … the metallic color is awesome. The only issue I have is there was a slight scratch by the buckle on one of the shoes…decided not to exchange them but can’t give a 5-star rating. As with other pairs of Birkenstocks there is definitely a break-in period but after that, super comfortable.
This is my first pair and I'm anxiously anticipating when they are broken in. I usually buy a cushy type of sandal/shoe but keep coming back to these for the cute style. It's the exact look I wanted I almost purchased Dansko sandals that look like Birks but are a cushier footbed. In the end, I preferred the color in the Birkenstock. I chose the mocha with the rose gold buckles. These will be my go to sandals this summer so I hope I chose right. I'll give 5 stars because I know they are quality but I'm still unsure how supportive or comfortable they will be wearing all day. Wish me luck!! Happy Birthday to me!! Btw, I'm 58. Old feet!! I wear size 8 or 39.
Very comfortable. I was surprised that it had a softer footbed, but Birkenstock has added a thin foam layer above its traditional cork sole in this model of sandal.A word of caution: I purchased these in-store in taupe, and their colors varied somewhat. The pair I tried was a paler shade than the pair out on the floor, so the sales clerk brought out other pairs for me to select the darker shade I originally wanted.
I bought these for my daughter for her birthday! She tried on many pairs of Birkenstock's but the footbed of this pair was so soft. The color is a soft grey so it will go with about anything! She absolutely loves them!!!
Birkenstocks are usually too wide for my feet so I specifically bought this pair because of the double buckle. Each is on the tightest notch and they fit perfectly. Bring leather the tops were all very stiff but after a few weeks they're now softer. Cute color.
