My son used them for a week and they already looked like they are 6 months old. The leather material is not as good as the suede. We didn’t like it at all! We love Birkenstocks and have many pairs in the house, but I don’t recommend this ones.

If these customers then go on to buy Bostons, they will find them less forgiving in a too small size than the 'Zonas. These poor folks then think, "I should size up," when really they're just back to the size they should have been all along.All that aside, these are great, great shoes. I prefer the harder leather versions to the suedes because I like to slip into these and kick them off without effort. They feel more like true clogs to me that way.

I’m a sz 11 in most brands and ordered the 11-11.5 and these for perfect. Super soft suede and bedliner. Great feel after a few hours on pavement and concrete. Only gripe is I’ll need to get a few more pairs!
My husband is a retired podiatric surgeon. Suffice it to say, he knows about good shoes for feet. We both wear Birks around the house for comfort and support rather than worthless house slippers. This will be the second pair of this particular style he will wear. You just can't beat them for support, comfort, and durability. As you wear them, the innersole molds to the shape of your foot, and when you slip into a pair, they fit like a second skin. Kudos, Birkenstock!
This is a very popular shoe and hard to find this winter. I found these in the "men's shoes" area on the website -- apparently the women's shoes only carry these up to size 41, and I wear 42 (woman's 11).Anyway I found them and love, love -- like I love, love my MANY pairs of Birks of all kinds. I bought the gray and really like the color. Debated getting the brown, but glad I didn't.So, about the fit . . . some reviewers say they are running small -- my experience is just the opposite -- they feel larger than my usual sandals and the other pair of Boston shearling Birks I have. But that's okay; I would not want to go smaller since I can wear these w/chunky socks and tighten the strap. If you are used to wearing Birkenstocks, I would go with your regular size.
Sorry but a slipper should not cost 180$ when I got the same style of slipper in Germany for 40 euro. That being said they are a fantastically comfortable shoe.
Beautiful Boston clog in iron grey! My usual size in Birks is a 43 (mayari and Arizona) but the 43 in the Boston was easily a size too large for my feet. Unfortunately, Nordstrom no longer has the 42 available in the style and color so I’ll have to purchase elsewhere.
The soft footbed Boston clog is comfortable on Day One for folks who want to skip the two or three weeks it takes to break in the Boston clog with the traditional firm footbed. And, after a few weeks, they conform to the shape of your foot...you will feel like you are walking on clouds.The Boston is ideal for people whose jobs keep them on their feet eight or ten hours a day. They are also terrific for relaxing at home after a long day at work.The soft version Boston has very good arch support but perhaps a tad less than with the firm traditional footbed.
As other reviews say, don’t size up. Ur foot may rest fine in a bigger size, but once you start walking, they will be flimsy. Recommend to order ur normal Arizona / sandal size, not go one size up like usual slides/ cozy shoes. I’ll update my review once I have a better gage on what my true size is in these. But def don’t size up or you’ll have a ton of space on the sides.
