Have had these sandals, my 1st Birks, for a little more than a year--they're great--38R fits my 7.5 feet normal (almost wide at the mid foot) well. So comfy, suede insoles feel soft and breathable underfoot. I wouldn't walk very far in them as they have little cushioning but great support for all 3 foot arches! FYI I have another pair of a different style (suede uppers) 39N that also fit.

I bought these for my daughter. She loves Birkenstocks. I don't love the price, but I love her, lol. She says they are very comfy. We found one pair in the store that was her size, but they looked like someone had worn them and returned them. Instead, we ordered online though the cashier at the store. The shoes arrived in perfect condition in three days!

I absolutely love this mayari sandals. This is the 5th pair i've purchased however, weirdly, this year the strap that covers the toe on my right foot seems to always be too tight. This had never happened in the past which makes me think that they have changed the length of that piece slightly or else my one toe has weirdly gotten larger. Who knows. I think they're skimping on materials just a bit which is the reason for me docking a couple stars. Otherwise, i live in these sandals every summer.

I am a latecomer to Birkenstocks even though I’m a boomer. I now have 3 pairs. This recent pair is beautiful - love the color. Unfortunately, I ordered the wide - did not mean to. Decided to keep them because cinching down strap gave me a decent fit. Thought about returning but decided to keep them. My other 2 pairs are the more narrow option.
I've had my eye on these Birkenstocks sandals for a while, and when I recently saw them in the store in my size, I took the plunge. They're not cheap, but they're worth it. I have another pair of Birkenstocks (clogs) that I bought 20+ years ago when I was in college, and I still wear them. (I've gotten them resoled a few times.) I anticipate having these a long time as well! Great quality, long lasting, and comfortable.
I bought these wanting to hate them. I first stalked them on HSN, and then the Birkenstock Website, and then finally took the plunge at Nordys, thanks to their generous return policy. I couldn't stomach spending over 100 bucks on corkboard. I figured if I finally buy them, think they're hideous, and that itch will be scratched and I'll never think of them again. Yeah. Well. That's not exactly what happened.. As soon as I put them on, I knew I was done. I knew I was in trouble and I was keeping them. I didn't really have the "break in" period so many people have talked about. They were pretty much golden right out of the box. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I may or may not be looking for other styles! I guess I'm a fan!
After a few weeks to break I’m, these just became my daily shoes. I hate wearing socks , especially at the house. Huge improvement over my runner flip flops. Knee pain, foot pain all went away with these. I believe it’s thanks to the arch support. Just wish they lasted a little longer. Sole near the heel is pretty much wasted! Like I said before, the foot bed is really hard to clean.Just bought a second pair.
When I first got these, and mind you it took an act of God to get me to buy them, I was encouraged to buy them as my feet needed a good shoe. The first two weeks I almost cried because they were so uncomfortable! But I read somewhere that they needed to be broke in, so I toughed it out. I have to say, I am so grateful for these shoes. THEE most comfortable sandle I have ever worn, I am a mess without them. I do have to say, the cork cracked by the big toe where the stap is. I hope I can mend them, but I was told these Birkenstocks last for years, so I will see how this goes!
This is my first time purchasing Birkenstocks. I really like the look of the Mayari. I chose the Stone color. It is neutral, between a grey and brown. I like the crisscross style, which holds my foot in place since I usually have trouble with my feet sliding forward in sandals. These fit well and initially feel good walking around. However, my feet were sore after wearing them for several hours the first time. Maybe I need time to break them in. I’m hoping that’s it, since the description refers to the footbed eventually molding to your feet over time.
I have several pair of the Mayari sandal and really love them. I needed a Fall color, not a dark brown and not a light tan. The color I purchased is weird: not white, not light tan not patent, not oiled leather. It’s kind of a shiny seashell, sugar sand. It’s a perfect dark enough shade for a Fall and not don’t wear white after Labor Day white. Depending on what style Birkenstocks I buy I have to get different sizes. I bought my usual size, 38 regular width and it fits perfect.
