Loved the look of these online. I really rate the quality and comfort that Birkenstock give you and they are usually worth the investment however these were the first synthetic pair I have bought (unknowingly - my mistake for not reading the product info). The upper (although felt lined) was hard, somewhat plastic looking imitation leather with a shiny finish, to be honest they didn't look like the genuine article at all so I sent them back.
