Featuring a kick guard to protect the leather, and a defined heel to keep you stable, the #172 is a slip-on safety boot with quick pull on, kick off appeal. The #172 is a broad fitting Type 1 steel toe cap boot, tested to resist a 200 joule impact. Made from premium oil-tanned leather, the PU midsole and TPU outsole provide the #172 with heat, slip and electrical hazard resistance, while the 6mm tread offers oil, acid and organic fat resistance. Designed with a steel shank to ensure correct step flex point and assist with torsional stability, the #172 also features SPS Max—XRD Technology in the heel and forepart strike zones for increased impact protection.
