This water filter cartridge was recommended by Brita because the MAXTRA PRO all-in-one cartridge wasn’t having the desired effect when it came to eliminating water scaling(limescale). This is because I noticed sediment in the inside of my cup when I had made a cup of tea and on the surface of hot water, after only maybe a week or so. The water is hard in my area. Even now I’ve changed to the ‘limescale expert’ cartridges, I notice the same thing after maybe 2- 3 weeks of use, so whatever is in the water is causing the problem.

I bought the water jug filters a few weeks ago, all-in-proThey are excellent and enable me to have a nice clean cup of water and tea/coffee.But I have a problem with BRITA , I ask for a box of 6 filters only, and to my surprise you delivered 2 boxes of 6 filters, and charged me twice, I phoned the company explaining the problem. The guy from Brita was hopeless, kept fogging me off saying it my fault.His manners were awful, and I SHALL NOT BE PURCHASING FROM THE COMPANY “BRITA” ever again.A very Disappointed customer,Mr Leslie Banks

Have used Brita for over 10 years. Bought the new BRITA MAXTRA PRO LIMESCALE EXPERT and was truly surprised at how much better the water tasted and how much less limescale was visible after boiling the water. I’m not easily impressed; but this has been an eye opener to how not so great the old Brita cartridges are. Bought new cartridges at one third off at ASDA to boot! The only remaining test is how long the new cartridges work well for. I doubt they’ll last a month, but I’d still buy them again for the improved quality. Deducted one star for plastic housing. Hope this helps.
I cannot recommend this product enough.I have used Brita products for years, and while I found the regular cartridges to provide refreshingly tasting water, but these Limescale cartridges outperform the regular Brita ones.The taste of the water alone is delicious, and the teas and coffees made with water filtered through the Maxtra Pro Limescale Expect cartridges taste much better.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone living in a hard water area. You won't regret purchasing the product.
The standard Brita Maxtra cartridges were no longer lasting 4 weeks before scaling resumed, so either Central London water is carrying more limescale or the normal cartridges are less effective. Therefore we are trying the new Limescale expert cartridges and well into the first month we still have a limescale free kettle and clear tea, so that is a definite improvement. Time will tell, hence the 4 stars but new technology should be tried especially to improve the "hard" water in London.
This is not the first time I have ordered this product from this company. I think it is necessary to use water filters in Switzerland. Because without them, the kettle is always limescale. With filters, the kettle is clean.Special thanks to the delivery man. Quickly. Quality.Recommended.
I live in London, so we all know the limescale build-up is crazy. I started using the limescale filter after cleaning my kettle and couldn't get over how shiny and clean it remained for weeks. When it came time to switch my filter, I used the regular one that came with the jug. It barely lasted a week on the regular filter before there was limescale buildup in the kettle again. If you live in London, or anywhere with hard water, you need the limescale specific filters.

There isn't anything to say about the Maxtra filters - I have used them for years and am happy with them.My comments are about two of your staff in Putney. I am embarrassed that I do not know their names.There is a black lady who has worked there a while. She is always polite, friendly and helpful. When I bought the product above, a Polish gentleman was on the till and he, too, was professional and helpful.If you can identify these two staff members, please commend them. They are a credit to your company.
