I like the fit and the traction. I have flat wide feet, usually I wear size 10 for Nike, this shoe does not need any break in time, it’s like a true fitting shoe width wiseHowever, you need thicker socks for the fitting length wise. The build quality is quick good, I do enjoy the quality material this shoe is using. The lacing system is very unique, I do not know how it called, but I do feel it’s like a elastic band when I was lacing. It does not really stable, well, I would say the stability is 3/5, very average.I did not run with this shoe yet, above are all my walking experience.Overall, it is a good shoe, I would suggest you may wanna half size down, or wear thicker socks.

First off, I’m not a runner. I am a very large, age 50+ man with a wide forefoot and narrow heel. I suffer from Achilles Tendinitis quite frequently and polled some Twitter users about walking/casual shoes they would recommend. The Adrenaline GTS fits very well. Excellent width in the forefoot and the tongue “sleeve”, for lack of a better word, keeps the tongue in place while walking or everyday activities. The arch feels very supporting and the heel cup is nicely padded and does not cause me pain. I find the cushion is firm, but pliable and my initial wearings feel very nice.I wear a 13 and this feels very true to size and width is excellent. The “springy” laces are a bit annoying, but that seems to be the style these days.

This is my second pair of the Brooks Adrenaline shoes and it's safe to say I'll be coming back for a third pair once these have been run through. My first pair still look great but after 800km on pavement and packed trails, the cushioning has gone. I'm still wearing them for around town walking. This new pair look slick and run great. I feel like I'm floating down the trail/road and they required next to no breaking in. They just felt great off the bat. My only complaint is they're getting a bit pricey for my budget but the benefits mostly justify the costs.

My husband has had 5 pairs of the previous adrenaline versions and they are the only shoes that don’t hurt his feet. The latest gts 22 model are so uncomfortable he complains every day. He’s given them a month to break them in and still no difference. We’ve tried different inserts, loosening/tightening the shoelaces to no avail. He said something has changed around the tongue/top of the shoe and is in pain after only 5 minutes and can’t wait to take them off. Definitely go and try them on before buying online thinking they’d be the same. 2 stars because they look very nice though!
I wanted the Beasts but sold out. Adrenaline are next best for moderate to severe overpronation. I'm tall & around 15 stone. My long distance run days are probably no more but my flat feet remain. Spending most days on them means being acutely aware of how sciatica impacted my mobility last year. The combo of flat feet & ongoing healing of lower back nerve damage meant that cutting corners with cheap footwear is of a greater physical cost in the long run 😊 Am more a gym, bike & swim person but in the last couple of weeks these Adrenalines are like overdue medicine for the body. The arch support is what's needed, plus the all round comfort makes these Brooks feel like the equivalent of a high end orthopedic mattress for feet. The expense is a shame but I'll only get ... They're the thinking person's go to shoe.
And after looking at them and quite a few other shoe reviews on web, settled on these. I am just walking purposefully in them to get back some fitness after illness and they have certainly supported my knee which was twanging with pain. I worried it was the meniscus injury again. Fit well however as warned in some reviews, the toes have been complaining a bit about the new sole. And if I was really picky, I like a longer tongue and laces. However, overall, very pleased. Oh ,and the free trainer socks are too thick when you have a good fitting shoe, uncomfortable.
About the shoe. Found it to be very stable and light. Used them for 2kms right away and loved the experience.About the shop. Folks like Amazon were marking up the cost of these shoes, if you wanted the wide one in black color. Amazon quoted me 347!! RunningRoom offered it at the same price as the other colors and seemed very fair. I went to the shop on Denman. It is a bright little shop! The salesperson was knowledgeable too!The size runs a bit small. So if you usually get 8.5 W, I would recommend getting a 9W for this model.
I got my first pair of ‘serious’ running shoes at 55, fitted at a reliable, trustworthy outfitters with a salesperson who knew how to fit feet. My custom footbeds slipped in perfectly, and gave my feet the little extra bit of support I needed for a proper gait, while keeping lots of cushioning from the shoe. Did my 5 miles a day for three years on a variety of surfaces, climates and terrain. Lots of room in the toes, snug but not tight over the arch, and never any slip in the sturdily padded heel. Cushioned but very stable. A bit sophisticated in style, which was a plus. But, I wore then out. And the store didn’t make it through the pandemic. So I found the latest model at Altitude sports. Each point that was worn on my old pair has been improved. Sleek and elegant ... When I ran I had terrible knee pain for years. I attempted to run 5ks but I couldn't train for more than a couple weeks without the knee pain coming back. I went to a running store and discovered I was pronating when I ran. They recommended Brooks Adrenaline GTS and my knee pain went away. That was ten years ago and I've been running ever since. 5Ks 1/2s and a couple marathons later and I'm pain free. They really do correct your running and help you build muscle without straining your knee. Love these shoes and they seem to get better every year.
I really liked going into the store and talking to a fit expert. I have been pretty loyal to ASICS since I started running regularly about 20 years ago. It was what was recommended at the time. I've tried other shoes here and there but always went back to ASICS and somehow never tried Brooks. Anyway the fit expert went over the shape of the shoe compared to others and how she thought it would benefit the shape of my foot. From what I remember they said this shoe had less narrowing mid foot than others. I have wider feet (not wide enough for a wide-fit show though) with a lower arch and these shoes fit PERFECTLY. Fresh out of the box they felt great. I didn't have to break them in to feel comfortable. I absolutely love these shoes and will be loyal to these from now on.
