Service always great, plus great price and fantastic running shoes.I’ve really taken to brooks ghost - fit and comfort. Gortex lining is great for those wet runs and puddles. I’m on my third pair. The only problems are that the waterproofing fails and the shoe leaks half way through the shoes lifespan - still far dryer than non gortex shoes. Also, the material ripped between the bed and upper with my last pair after 500 miles - brooks replaced them, so all good. Although not perfect, they are the best shoes I’ve had and I’ve had all the top of the range from most of the major running brands.

GTX vs Normal? Go for GTX!

Love them. I have been a fan of the Ghost series forever as they suit my feet nicely but only just tried the GTX version. The GTX is awesome, the protection on wet days is superb, you even forget that it is wet underfoot so be careful. I had a misstep and ran through a puddle but socks stayed completely dry, well .... until I went a deep puddle!Highly recommend and will definitely be buying again.

Great, everyday runner

Great alteration of the Ghost 14. Can feel the stability from the first step.5 stars if not for the laces and fit. Found the top to be quite tight and the laces not long enough to comfortably tie a double knot. Obviously fixed with other laces, just expect them to be on from the manufacturer.

Need to call a Spade a Spade

The Ghost line of shoes is a great product line. I have 4 pairs and love them all, but need to call out Brooks on the Goretex version. These shoes are NOT waterproof. Even in light rain your feet will get wet. Are they better than a regular shoe....yes, a little. If it is raining hard, your feet will get wet.

New brooks shoes will not last a year.

I bought 2 pairs of ghost 14 thinking they would be as good as my brooks beast 20, and they were at first, but the inner lining didn't even last a year before the heal wore out and Ihave been wearing brooks socks. Unfortunately this looks like a common problem with new brooks shoes. The only brooks shoes I can find with the long lasting inner lining are beast 20. NOT beast 23 or other brooks shoes today. Look closely for the vertical pattern in the lining at the heal, that's what make them last.

Plantar Facia Fixed!!

Seriously good shoes. I have been suffering with debilitating Plantar Facia for almost 10 months, and although I had prescribed orthotics, I was in real trouble.My local a sports shoe shop recommended the Brookes Ghost shoes, primarily as the are deep enough to compensate for orthotics. Within a couple of weeks the foot support given , has allowed my foot to make the slow transition back to health.I rate Brookes shoes so highly I have now purchased an additional 3 pairs. I really was in serious trouble here, thank goodness I found these shoes!

Poor branded product

A very overpriced discounted product for a reason. These shoes must be the cheapest branded ‘running’ shoe I’ve ever experienced. From amazingly dysfunctional laces to limited cardboard like foot bed leaves me with a brand loyalty feeling in the nearest dumpster. Just an honest view bluntly expressed.

The little details

Solid support, you can really tell the research has gone into making stability the key feature here. Fits great, cradled, no foot slip or roll inside.Bought the Gore-Tex edition as it does my head in when wet grass or mild rain soaks through the second I leave the house! Only con with this is breathability but its the lesser of two evils when out for a while. When your speed increases the spring in your step is real... Very impressed.

I can give 10 star for these shoes I’m wearing this same one from three months and these r comfortable at work and for everyday use too . Last month I checked in rain so they proved they r 100%water proof shoes it was heavy rain on that day and I was walking with these shoes home to bus stop than station to Vancouver store I never face any difficulty or discomfort . These were dry inside so it was amazing experience . These r on best price with expensive goretax feature

too small, narrow

Books needs better quality control. These shoes are small and tight. I purchased two pairs of Glycerines this year and loved them. I thought I'd pick up a pair of Ghosts since they were on sale. They fit very small. I ended up having to drive an hour to return them. For some odd reason a 10 in one model fits totally different that a 10 in a different model by the same company.
