Not just the best Glycerin it truly is the best shoe ever. I bought the shoe for serious walking. It came in right before we left on vacation and I popped them on. Right from the start I loved how they felt. Super cushioning but with good support. I am a supinator. My foot lands on the outside edge first and would like to continue the roll over even farther which kills my ankles. In this shoe my foot lands and is helped to stay neutral- it corrects it and makes it stay level. I'm not sure if that is in the internal construction or the slightly wider footprint. I have custom orthotics which fit in these shoes beautifully. I normally wear a 6W but I could not find the shoe in wide. I sized up to 6.5 M. It fits great. Nice roomy toe box. For the first time, my feet don't hurt when I first get up in the morning. I can tell I will be owning them in every color.

I only run when I'm being chased. These were purchased for a 12-day trip with only carry-on bags, so I was limited in what I could pack. I knew we would be walking A LOT and did not want to take a chance with cutesy sneakers. I asked for a walking shoe with a wide toe box and sales person suggested these. Out-of-the-box comfort with cushy underfoot support and plenty of room for my toes. Logged over 5 miles a day for 6 days with ZERO foot, knee, hip, or back issues. Amazing. Thank goodness I found understated black/white/gray in my size. Why are running shoes so garishly colorful??? Yuck.

Ok so these shoes are truly the best in terms of cushioning. They are super comfortable when I am just standing and not walking. HOWEVER, the big issue is that when I walk and put pressure on my toes, a part of the shoebox becomes concave and jabs my toe. I read a similar review on this shoe but didn't understand the review and decided to buy the shoes anyway. Now I understand. A part of the shoebox literally folds inward as you lift your heel and apply pressure near the toes and it hits my toes making it painful. It's really too bad as I love the style and colour. I'm really dissapointed.

In May of 2022, I bought a pair of the Glycerin 19 at my local Dick's Sporting Goods store, which I loved. I was going to buy a second pair on line, because I like to have one pair of sneakers for working out and one for work. But the salesman told me that the Glycerin 20 would be coming out in July and I may really like those. So I waited till July, and then I bought the Glycerin 20. I love this sneaker. It's looks nice and has a lot of cushioning and it seems the cushioning runs the full length of the foot. So now I use these sneakers for working out, and I use my Glycerin 19's for work. These sneakers have enabled me to do a lot of walking this summer. I got a size 8.5 in these, and my usual size is an 8.
I absolutely love these shoes. They are very comfortable. I have been searching for some comfortable shoes to wear to work as a nurse. I am standing on my feet alot. With these I don't feel pain in my feet from plantar fasciitis. The shoes arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. I would definitely recommend these sneakers to my family and friends. Since this purchase I have purchased 2 more pairs of these sneakers at a merchant that was selling them slightly cheaper.
I was looking for good training shoes after a recent lower back and left leg injury. I have a flat foot with a high arch, and I seem to apply more pressure on my forefoot. I tried a couple of shoes (Saukaney formfit, Mizuno waverider 26, Mizuno inspire 19 and Hoka arahi 6) were unsuitable for my condition. They hurt my back more, or I experienced arch and forefoot pain within minutes of walking. Apparently, I needed a less bouncy neutral shoe with more cushioning at the forefoot. Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff at the Glen and Chadstone, I finally found the Brooks Glycerin 20 to be the ideal shoes.
I bought my brooks glycerin 20 shoes 5 days ago and i wish someone would have told me about them 2 years ago. I walk 20 to 32 miles a week at work on concrete floors and do 8 hour days at a time. My feet and right knee were killing me. I can already tell that these shoes will be the only shoes i will ever buy. I love them! I love the wide feature that fit my caveman feet. Lots of toe room since my former shoes gave me soft corns and squeezed my feet till i would prefer to crawl than walk. The choice of how to lace up around the ankle is genius since 1 of my ankles is smaller than the other. I wanted to wear them to bed and never take them off!! Try them and you'll love them. The most expensive shoes i've ever bought. Worth every penny!!!
I have been buying Glycerins for years and I just feel like these miss the mark. I have always ordered the same size and these feel weirdly longer and wider to me. The old versions used to hug my feet and these are definitely stiffer and not as comfortable. I also think they are lacking on cushioning, which is what this model of shoe is known for! Ever since I started using this version, my feet have been so sore after my workouts. Even though my 19s are worn out, I keep putting them on instead of these because they feel better on my feet. I really hope they add back the cushioning and flexibility that the glycerins used to have!
I have had Brook shoes forever, starting with the Ghost. After many pairs, they changed the fit and I could no longer wear Ghosts. Then I tried the Glycerin for years. However, with the 20, the shoe sizing altered completely. I used to consistently wear a size 8. Now, the size 8 is a bit shorter and tighter. The 8-½ is too long. I tried wearing both sizes for a considerable time. Luckily, Roadrunner's allows you to return unsuitable shoes with a 90-day period. I am now on the search for a comparable shoe in another brand.
I am so happy that the Glycerin shoe back with this newest model. Thank you, Brooks! I loved the 18's and bought multiple pairs that eventually wore out. I tried the 19's last year and they were really off. After wearing them for about a 1/2 hour, I had to remove them because they felt tight all over and caused my feet to hurt and go numb. Sneakers are not supposed to feel that way. I tried multiple brands of other shoes to replace my Glycerins, but none would compare. Now, I am a happy camper once again with my recent purchase of the Glycerin 20. They fit perfectly, and I can resume my daily walking without pain. This time, I am going to buy several pairs so that I have backups just in case the yearly tweaking they do to the shoes changes again in a negative way.
