I’ve used countless tubes of this. No matter how many lip balms I buy I always come back to this because nothing can make my lips soft and moisturizer like this one. When my lips get dry to the point where they get a hard layer of skin that feels super dry and eventually peels off, other lip balms just sit on top and leave my lips dry but burts bees softens up the top layer and makes them peel faster so my lips can return to normal. I also like that it doesn’t have shine or a lot of slip, so it works really well under lipsticks. I wish they would come out with a larger version with a bigger applicator but I still love this and will always repurchase.

Given the changes in weather, whether it's extreme heat or cold, my lips tend to get damaged, break. Beloved chapstick, but new formula?

My love for Burt’s Bees started with their original chapstick over 20 years ago and blossomed into other items they have made over the years. I’m also known to supply everyone with Burt’s Bees stocking stuffers every Christmas!However, a 4 pack of chapstick I bought for myself has a weird and undesirable chemical smell. Opened the rest in the 4 pack, and they all have the chemical smell. I had others in my family smell and try it out, and they all agree on the bad chemical smell! Is there a change in the formula? I truly hope not, because if it’s not broke, don’t fix it! I have since stopped using the 4 pack until I can get some answers, but hope this was just a bad batch.

Ok, I never ever wrote reviews but I feel like this is worth it. We all know cold sores suck, like the absolute worst thing ever. I got one the day before my birthday and wanted to do everything in my power to get it away ASAP. I took a prescription on top of using this and it was basically flat in Lass then a week. By the day of my birthday it was flat enough to cover up and no be visible. From day 1 to day 2 the swelling went down ALOTTTT. I used it 3/4/5 times a day for the first few days. I would say it was gone in like 3/4 days but I’m now a week later with a flat scab but I am guilty of picking it off… I would say get this and give it a try but also get a prescription from your Dr to get it away fast. Great idea to personalize a lip balm. I bought two sets (4 in each set) as gifts for some friends. I was very excited to gift the personalized Burt's Bees lip balm. But when they arrive that excitement vanished. The personalized lettering is in white and hardly legible. The lettering is small and white. No other color option is available. I trusted that they would be as clear as the sampled photographs on the order page. I will not be giving them as gifts. I will not be ordering more. I called customer support and was told that yes they have heard that is a problem and at this time only the white lettering is available and that they are not returnable. Never Fails Me!

As a Rancher and a Fire fighter, Burts Bees lip balm never lets me down. Some chapsticks don't go on well when its 10 degrees out or they melt when it hits 90 degrees! Burts Bees is always in the same ready to use form. I apply my Burts Bees multiple times a day, everyday, 365. I have tubes in my truck, the barn, my fire gear bag, all over the house and in my purse. I have the tinted in my camping gear, hiking pack and with my life vest in my kayak. This won't let you down! Love this product. Makes great Stocking stuffers too!

Over a month waiting

I am giving this a one star because I did not even receive the personalized chapsticks. I ordered these as a gift for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day over a month ago and I still have not received them, when it at checkout it said it would be here in time. I am extremely disappointed in the way Burt’s bees has handled this product because all I got was a confirmation email and that’s it. I have not received a single update in over a month. And when I contacted customer service they said it was still being processed and had no sympathy for someone not receiving a thoughtful gift on Valentine’s Day. When the processing time was under two weeks. Do NOT buy this unless you have months and months to wait around for it.
