I needed a pair of boots in a pinch, the boas on my old Ions snapped in the middle of VT getting slaughtered in March. I've come to find out from the YouTubes that I am actually an 11 wide instead of a 12, which I have been wearing for 30 years. So performance-wise, because I am wearing the correct sized boots for the first time in my life, they're ripping. The fit and finish are spot on, liners are nice, but they are a little soft/flexible for my tastes and I don't know if they will have the longevity of the Ions. Boot shopping in mid-March looking for an 11 wide this is what was available and they got me through the end of the season, nicely; I will be on the lookout for Ion Wides in the fall though. Very snow-tight, but easy to take on/off. Not as wide as it could be, requiring thin socks ,but the boot is warm enough to allow for thin socks.

These are my first boots with the BOA system. Amazing. No sloppy laces, easy to get the right tension. Burton makes a wide boot, so this is all around great.

Would have been nice but they were too big. I struggle with boots. These felt nice but I know they were too big for my feet. Returned them. If you have hella wide feet, this is your boot.
