I see no addition vignetting when used with the Zeiss 15mm lens, just the vignetting intrinsic in the lens design itself. Vignetting will occur if UV filter is left on when using the polarizer. Cost is very steep, but reviews of some other brands had described vignetting and I figured if I'd already sunk a lot of money into the lens, that I wouldn't want to take the chance of not being happy with it.

Nice filter, but I experienced vignetting at all apertures when used with the Zeiss Milvus 15mm and Canon 5 DSR combination. Some corners were black or darkened while other corners were lighter with a purplish shade, making it very difficult to correct in Lightroom. Other than this issue, the filter is fine. Spins smoothly and does what a polarizer does. However, I returned to B&H who processed the return in a courteous and timely manner. B&H was a pleasure to work with. I'll try another filter with the store credit that I received for the return.

This is the only filter I've found that works well on the Zeiss Distagon 15mm ZF.2. No vignetting that I can see, even wide open. It's expensive, and from what I've heard it's slightly optically better than the Heliopan, although I've not had the chance to try out that one.

Works well on a Zeiss Milvus 15mm F/2.8 but I thought the polarizing effect was very subtle as you turn the filter ring. Also it does not have any inner threads to attach the Zeiss lens cap to protect it and keep dust out when not in use. At half the price the polarizing effect was much better on the B+W 95mm XS-Pro HTC Kaesemann Circular Polarizer Nano Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC); has threads so that the Zeiss 15mm lens cap can be attached and also showed no vignetting when used as the only filter on the Zeiss Milvus 15mm with or without the shade/hood attached.
The only polarizer that has no discernible vignetting on the Zeiss 15mm. I tried to go the less expensive route on two separate polarizers... no go... and I ended up spending nearly the same after it was all said and done. Lesson learned on this one... go with the manufacturers matched product.
First a clarification: you should always use polariser on wide or ultra-wide lens for nature/landscape photography. Only caution is with the blue sky, try to have blue sky less than 90 degree angle of view on your frame. If there are loads of cloud, ignore the caution. Now about the 95mm Carl Zeiss T* Circular Polarizer Filter, optically it well match with Zeiss 15mm 2.8 Distagon, no degradation. I would say they are made for each other. This filter makes proper utilisation of Zeiss 15mm 2.8 T* Distagon.
Great colors coming off the Otus when using the CP. If I had to mark down a half star, it's the price and the fact that you can't put the Otus front cap on this filter (which I found strange).
Works great, easy to put on and remove, and no visible vignetting on the Zeiss 15mm Distagon, which is of course why you're probably looking at this CPL.
These Zeiss CPL filters are very well made, optically and mechanically. Rotation is smooth and the front thread is deep enough for e.g. Nikon front lens caps to grasp. In the meantime I have replaced all my B+W CPL filters by those Zeiss filters! Even the LEE lens adapters for the 100mm System fit perfectly onto the filter's front. Cleaning of those filter's glass surfaces is quite simple and effortless. All filters come in handy plastic containers except the 95mm version which comes in a soft pouch which is quite big and not to my liking.
I don't understand that everybody says that there is no vignetting on Zeiss 15mm Distagon, but I see a lot of vignetting on my Zeiss 15mm Distagon because I have such bad luck?
