If you follow my reviews you know I have VERY sensitive skin. I buy everything makeup and skincare with the expectation I will be returning it. It is a pleasant surprise when something doesn’t cause a reaction and it is immediately added to my love forever arsenal. This foundation immediately hit all of the high notes and allowed my freckles to shine. I would describe this as medium coverage. It is definitely a more dewy finish. If you prefer a more matte finish you will want a powder. While pricey, this saves me the cost of a dermatologist. That alone makes it worth it.

This foundation offers a very natural look. It blends in so perfectly and easily. The texture is light and adds natural glow to the skin. It also wears very comfortably on the skin. You don't feel like there's a layer of makeup over your face. I absolutely love it. But since it's light, on areas that you need a coverup, I put a bit of a concealer under my eyes. Also, Chanel foundation, including this one has a subtle floral smells which I love. It adds this luxurious feel to it when you apply it on your face. Anyway, I'm a big fan of this foundation and if you are going for a natural-look, you definitely need to give it a try!!

According to the chanel website, this foundation can be applied with fingers or a brush. I used my sigma flat Kabuki and it blended out perfectly. I read on the chanel website that it claims that this foundation has antioxidants that protect against pollution, free radicals and blue light, which is not something I see in most other foundations so I think that's pretty cool.

Beautiful

This foundation is such an experience in applying it. It smells beautiful and just glides on so smoothly. Gives you a gorgeous glow and lasts all day. It plays nicely with other Chanel products. It did not budge when I applied my Soleil Tan De Chanel on my cheeks and perimeter of my face, as well as when I applied the Chanel Le Blanc Rosy Light Drops liquid illuminator on my cheeks and other areas. I will say that normally with Chanel, when I haven't been in the sun a whole lot, I typically wear BD40 in their foundations. With this particular foundation, I had to get BD50 because BD40 was a little too light for me.

Excellent alternative for Le Teint Velvet!

I love Chanel's Le Teint Velvet foundation in B30, I use it all winter long unfortunately I have not been able to locate it for months! The new Le Teint Ultra was recommended to me however the shade was not the same and I did not like it at all - I cannot recommend that one. BUT! the Les Beiges in B30 is a perfect match to my skin and I love how this foundation wears all day long. I have 'mature' skin and it didn't pool in my pores or leave creases anywhere. I highly recommend this foundation - it is weightless and wears very well. This is a huge win!!

Finally I can come back to Chanel…

When Chanel discontinued their popular and highly rated Perfection Lumiere, I was shocked, very upset and at a loss. I’d been a Chanel makeup loyalist; Chanel foundation was the best choice for my very fair skin with yellow undertones… which led me to buy all my other makeup at Chanel as well. I really wanted to stay with Chanel since their foundations are beautiful but, after trying samples of ALL their newer foundations, either the color or the finish didn’t work for me. I also tried samples of other high end makeup brands (Dior, Armani, etc) with no luck. Finally, I discovered Les Beige in BD11, which is a PERFECT match for my skin. Just Stunning

This is my 1st experience with Chanel foundations, I’ve had my eyes on this since it launched but for some reason I kept putting it off. I finally decided to try it, it’s absolutely beautiful. The finish is like second skin. It applies effortlessly, I have tried tons of foundations (YouTube content creator), this foundation is easily in my top 5 favorites. As if the application, feel and wear of this foundation isn’t enough, the price point is amazing. I review mostly luxury brand foundations, at $60, this foundation is a steal. If I had any complaints (minor), my only issue is I wish it gave a bit more coverage, that’s not a deal breaker, just because I own tons of medium coverage Foundations. If your skin type is oily, set your primer for a bit more longevity. Chanel claims it’s a 16 hour wear, unfortunately I was unable to review this for more that 4 hours, at which point I found the foundation to look beautiful. I’m not a Believer in 12, 16, or 24 hour foundation claims. It’s just not realistic, who wears foundations for 16 hours. This has moved up in my vast collections and is now one of my top five all time favorite foundations. Highly recommend

Light to medium coverage indeed buildable with lovely slight perfume to it. I really like it it's not harsh at all and I'm ok with it to wear light perfume veil on my face I find it quite romantic. I don't like cakey make up I wear only light foundations. That's my personal preference my skin has pink shades on cheeks area and this light coverage balance it all out. I've used same Sade as I was using vitalumier but it's impossible to buy it anywhere so I had to switch. While this is not a matte finish I decided to try something new and this looks normal and not giving me glossy nor greasy kind of look rather natural. I use foundation brush and little goes a long way I use half way pumped bead to spread on one are for example half cheek and chin or only forehead. Why Chanel?

Purchased the foundation and I can't believe how much I didn't like the product. I started using the Chanel line of foundations last summer during a trip to France. I got hooked and excited to try this foundation. It clings to your face in a way that doesn't look natural at all, and the color shade didn't work for me. The other thing with trying to find the correct color of your foundation can be tricky. I had to use another website to figure out which color worked for my skin tone. I don't see this as working for anyone that wants coverage and to look natural. Also, the scent is really strong and shocked me.
