I have tried other equally expensive brands with not so good results. Leave it to Chanel to deliver a product thats pure perfection. My skin is on the dry side, but the formulation did not disappoint.

This foundation offers a very natural look. It blends in so perfectly and easily. The texture is light and adds natural glow to the skin. It also wears very comfortably on the skin. You don't feel like there's a layer of makeup over your face. I absolutely love it. But since it's light, on areas that you need a coverup, I put a bit of a concealer under my eyes. Also, Chanel foundation, including this one has a subtle floral smells which I love. It adds this luxurious feel to it when you apply it on your face. Anyway, I'm a big fan of this foundation and if you are going for a natural-look, you definitely need to give it a try!!

I love Chanel's Le Teint Velvet foundation in B30, I use it all winter long unfortunately I have not been able to locate it for months! The new Le Teint Ultra was recommended to me however the shade was not the same and I did not like it at all - I cannot recommend that one. BUT! the Les Beiges in B30 is a perfect match to my skin and I love how this foundation wears all day long. I have 'mature' skin and it didn't pool in my pores or leave creases anywhere. I highly recommend this foundation - it is weightless and wears very well. This is a huge win!!

When Chanel discontinued their popular and highly rated Perfection Lumiere, I was shocked, very upset and at a loss. Why Chanel, why? Who is asking for pungent smells in their foundation?! Overall the foundation is near perfect, gorgeous coverage, a luminous finish. Just freaking excellent. Minus the smell. Oh sweet Moses the smell. I almost accidentally hot boxed myself to the heavens while putting on a mask and going shopping. Good people of Chanel, please hear us. NOBODY WANTS THEIR FOUNDATION TO HAVE A SCENT. Tragically will not be repurchasing.

Really taken aback by how perfect this foundation is! I typically use the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint for everyday, but wanted something a tad heavier for night time / date night / going out makeup. This does NOT disappoint. It’s absolute perfection. Buildable coverage, but looks like your own skin. For once I don’t feel like my skin is suffocating with makeup! The scent is absolutely heavenly- even according to my mom who is super sensitive to all scents. I’m shocked there are reviews complaining about it- it truly is a universally light and clean scent- and the quintessential Chanel skincare fragrance. I have super oily skin and I found this to give me a perfect glow without making me look shiny. I’m so happy I found this!
Purchased the foundation and I can't believe how much I didn't like the product. I started using the Chanel line of foundations last summer during a trip to France. I got hooked and excited to try this foundation. It clings to your face in a way that doesn't look natural at all, and the color shade didn't work for me. The other thing with trying to find the correct color of your foundation can be tricky. I had to use another website to figure out which color worked for my skin tone. I don't see this as working for anyone that wants coverage and to look natural. Also, the scent is really strong and shocked me.
This foundation really covers all my imperfections, stays on all day. I went on a flight to Cancun and once we landed, we couldn’t check into our room right away. So from 4:30 AM to about 4 PM (12 hours) I was amazed how fresh and glowing my skin looked. I have medium yellow gold Indian skin (not as tan) and this melts and fits my skin tone perfectly! It looks wonderful in photos and I think is officially my HG! I have sensitive skin. Use retinol every night and vitamin c every morning. Works great and doesn’t break me out :)
I am a Chanel cosmetic lover, but was terribly disappointed in the Les Beiges foundation, I purchased the B30 color. The coverage was not as smooth as I expected and it accentuated any patches and especially the pores around my T zone. I used my regular moisturizer and no primer. On day #2 I tried it again with the Chanel moisturizing primer, but same results. As both days went on, it seemed to oxidize and turn a little orange. I later tried the Chanel No. 1 foundation and really, really like it. See my review on the Chanel No. 1.
