My favourite perfume and the body lotion does not disappoint. I have most of the Chanel no5 body products and believe in layering the product s so stay on the body for longer. The body lotion has the lovely Chanel No 5 smell it glides on smoothly and moisturises the skin well. The smell of the lotion last throughout the day. I love it.

I find Chanel body lotion to be a luxurious treat for my skin. Its rich texture leaves my skin feeling hydrated and velvety smooth, while the elegant Chanel scent adds a touch of sophistication to my daily routine. However, the higher price point can be a deterrent, so I weigh the cost against the product's quality and my own preferences for indulgent skincare. Overall, if I'm looking to pamper myself with a high-end lotion, Chanel is definitely worth considering.

Another package designer trying to make an impress

I have worn Chanel No 5 products for years. However this last purchase of the lotion was an unhappy experience. Without any warning, instructions or any other type of notice, the cap on the bottle was redesigned. I proceeded to remove the cap, as we all normally do, only to discover that they had replaced the original cap with a new type that does not just turn to open or flip up the lid. Needless to say it was totally destroyed trying to get it to work. I cannot even get the lotion out without quite a bit of maneuvering. Not sure how they have that cap put on but it can't be taken off without totally destroying the upper portion of the bottle. I'm halfway tempted to take it to a Macy department store and let them correct it, fix it, or replace it. This product ... MoreI have worn Chanel No 5 products for years. This product costs way too much to be missing with the lids to a point that you destroy it trying to open it. Who was the brainstorm that came up with this idea? Well, Chanel may like it but I sure don't. Remember the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"! Well the original cap wasn't broken and it worked just fine.

Bad bottle lid design.

The Chanel lotion is fabulous. It feels great and smells wonderful. Macy’s mailing was fantastic. I only gave it three stars because the functional style of the lid on the bottle of lotion is ridiculous. It should be a normal screw off lid or a pop open, or a pump. The design of this lid is terrible.

Chanel Number 5

Chanel Number 5 is a most wonderful fragrance. I have worn Chanel Number 5 for many years and it is the only fragrance I want to wear. The body lotion lasts a very long time and does not offend men or women in the work place or at Church. While the perfume may need to be refrigerated to keep it’s scent from evaporating, the lotion is always strong with no refrigeration.

Chanel body lotion

Disappointed in the body lotion.The packaging has changed since I last purchased this product.Finally the twist-open cap broke, leaving an ugly, open top.Now the lotion cakes around the top and is hard to get out of the bottle.Everyday, I want to throw it into the trash but it’s still 2/3 full and was very costly!NOT HAPPY!!!!

Impossible to open!

Received this yesterday. Returning today. Kudos to those of you who could get the bottle open. I tried sliding the top over as indicated in instructions on the box. Impossible. Would not budge. Ended up breaking the top and a fingernail in the process. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews that mentioned this problem.

Incredibly Strange Cap

The fragrance is lovely, but someone needs to go back to design school on the cap. It should come with instructions because I broke it first thing (unless it was already broken!). I've never seen anything like it. The entire cap will not unscrew in order to put another cap on. I will manage to overcome the cap situation, and use the product, but feel a discount should be given for this defect. Obviously it IS defective based on other reviews. I was hoping this was corrected when I made my order. Oh well! Just out of curiosity, I would like to know how this cap is supposed to operate.My rating is based on the lotion itself. I won't penalize the fragrance.

This is improvement??

Love this lotion, have used it for years. I usually buy multiple bottles (especially if I hit an infrequent sale, so as l finished off my last bottle I ordered a few more. Same great scent, only thing different is a WHITE cap that automatically opens when you twist it. Sorry guys, I prefer the old black one. WHITE cap on Chanel #5?? NO!!

Weird plastic smell

So... I love Chanel. I have everything except for the actual parfume that’s $$$$$ for .5oz lol. I love No5 and I’m honestly pleased that I can wear it because I know a lot of people say it stinks on them. So I decided to get the lotion because I didn’t have the No5 lotion yet and I’m trying to get better at layering the perfume with lotion and body oil. I received it and I was so excited I hopped in the shower and then immediately put the lotion on my hands and I quickly smelled my hands and then the bottle and I felt slightly sick by the smell. It smells like when the grocery store is out of Johnson’s baby lotion (pink bottle) so you are forced to buy the off Brand and it just doesn’t smell as good. Okay, if that doesn’t help you my last attempt is that after putting it on my dogs lips curled upwards and she made this face that made me feel totally disgusting. She didn’t want me to touch her for the rest of the day because the scent does last pretty long. I did try layering it but that weird plastic cheap smell overpowered everything. You might want to run to a Sephora that has Chanel and see if You can smell it in store before ordering like I did... if the ones in the store smell better when I go to return this I’ll edit this review.
