Use chuckit products regularly so was excited to find this for my dogs. It wasn't cheap but I thought it would be worth it for a new toy as none of my other chuckit products have had to be replaced because they are durable. Ii was disappointed however that the first time playing with it (just fetch) it started to fall apart. My dogs do not chew to destroy toys so this is definitely not what happened. I'm sad to have spent so much and it not be the quality I was expecting

Best toy ever!

I bought this for my mom’s Goldador and she absolutely loves it. I bring my dogs over to her house and they all play tug with it. I’m buying two more to give as gifts to friends with new puppies! 🐾🐾

Best toy for my chewer!

My springer is an aggressive chewer and destroys most all of his toys. I purchased this for use outdoors in supervised fetch games. He absolutely loves it! He loves to run around carrying it by the strap and swinging it side to side, he also runs around flexing his jaw on the ribbed rubber. He has not destroyed any part of it yet and we've had it a few months. I'm ordering another for use at the lake this summer.

Do not let you leave dog have this for more than 1min in their mouth

Bought this thinking it would last for at least a days worth of tug-o-war. It lasted about 20 min. The entire thing is destroyed. My 9mo old puppy pulled all of the rubber off, the ropes and chewed right through the “reinforced” core.

Favorite toy

Our dog’s favorite toy. Great for fetch. He’s a tough chewer and this lasted about 6 months, which is a record for a toy that’s not a bone or ball. Plush lasts about 5 minutes max in our house. Happy to have found a fun toy for him. We eventually had to cut each of the blue ends off. He still loves it so much, on here to buy another or two! Thrilled to find at chewy, we originally purchased at a pet store and they sold out.

Thank you for asking for this review as I always buy CHUCKIT toys for my Bostons, just not always on Chewy. All of our CHUCKIT toys have held up great.I purchased this particular toy because I had never seen it before on other websites.Within 2-3 days, it was destroyed. I was glad I stopped them before they swallowed pieces.

NOT rugged AT ALL

This toy is not at all rugged. I purchased one of these toys under the name being RUGGED. I have a golden retriever who through an injury as a puppy has lost almost all of his teeth. He destroyed the toys within 3 days. Within the first day the toys ribs had been broken in several places from some gentle and short games of tug-of-war. Day 2 the blue end-cap had begun to break from him biting and chewing (again with few teeth) and by day 3 the blue end-cap had completely broken off. I was very disappointed in the product as 3 days of gentle play and it breaking is not at all rugged especially when your dog barely has teeth.

Not rugged

(Not) Rugged. (Not) Designed for tough play. My pup was so excited to get this new toy, she ran around the house playing with it. My thought was it was a great toy. Half an hour later, she had chewed off one end, working diligently on removing the other end.

Perfect for dock diving!

Over the last 4 years I’ve purchased three of these. One was destroyed by my dog when she decided to know on it. The other was broken after months of vigorous tugging with my dog after she retrieved it from the pool. The third I lost.My dogs love this the best for dock diving. They are durable and easy to grip. The handles make it easy to play tug. They don’t get soaked. They always float.I hope they never stop making this.

Very dangerous once broken open

My dog played with this for 3 mins and chewed it apart and it opened up with hard plastic on the inside and cut his gums and was bleeding. Don't be fooled by the soft rubber. It has hard plastic inside.
