The all-new HALO XL Hybrids are designed to help you break out of tough lies, thick rough, or even fairway bunkers. Upgraded GlideRail sole technology helps players get in and out of the turf without interference, while MainFrame injects even more MOI for added forgiveness. MainFrame XL Face Technology uses a variable thickness pattern that maximizes flex at impact to boost distance. It also repositions weight low and deep in the clubhead for added forgiveness and consistency. Cleveland's proprietary GlideRail Technology gets a new, optimized design to deliver cleaner, uninterrupted swings through the turf. Two rails along the sole of the club help keep the face straight through impact. With an improved XL Head Design packing even more MOI than last generation, plus a low-and-deep weighting profile, players can enjoy long, high-launching ball flight with plenty of forgiveness. With alternating flex zones acting in-sync, Rebound Frame directs more energy into the ball for speed and distance on every shot. An 8-gram weight tucked into the end of the shaft counterbalances the club for more control without extra effort. This counterweight helps the club feel lighter on takeaway and stay stable through impact.

First off, I want to say my last generation Cleveland Halo XL Hybrids are my favorite clubs in my bag, especially the 6H. It's an automatic 155 yards for me and almost always straight. I was ecstatic when I saw that a 7H was being offered in the new lineup and decided to give it a go.Man, I'm conflicted on this. I think first off, looks-wise, it's a huge step backwards. Gone is the matte material and the Cleveland blue in favor of a shiny, gray and black head that does nothing to stand out. Boring and too "safe" of a design in my eyes.Secondly, it feels considerably less balanced than the previous gen. It just felt clunky to use. I think it's likely due to the change in shaft. I think the new shaft looks better and has a (potentially) more reputable name on it ... MoreFirst off, I want to say my last generation Cleveland Halo XL Hybrids are my favorite clubs in my bag, especially the 6H. But I think it's resulted in a worse feeling club.I'm just an average golfer, and feel is subjective, so this could just be me.Ultimately the club does fill a gap for me in my bag going 145 (my Taylormade Stealth HD 7 iron goes 135), and so I'll be keeping it for now, but I don't feel the same joy in hitting it or looking at it as I do the previous gen.

The Halo XL Hybrids replaced two earlier generation Cleveland Halos Hhybrids that I had good results with. After reading its reviews in Golf Magazine, I decided to take advantage of Dunlops 50% trade-in offer and purchase the current Halo XL three and four hybrids. Have used it in two rounds and I am pleased with my decision. Clubs are easy to hit, good distance for me and I like the glossy finish versus the flat finish from the Halos I traded in.

As a senior golfer I prefer hybrids over long irons so I purchased the 27 degree 6 hybrid with the Project X Cypher 50 Senior graphite shaft to replace my 7 iron and love it. It is so much easier to hit than an iron getting good distance and a nice high ball flight. It is also easy to vary the swing speed so I can use it for a wide variety of distances. It is easy to hit from the rough or a fairway lie. It replaced an older Ping G25 hybrid and it so much more forgiving. I still need to work out some gapping, but might end up getting a second one as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for some forgiving hybrids. It does not get much better than this IMO. Looks pretty good too.
I can't it long irons for anything so I've been exploring hybrid options. I have a TaylorMade SIM 2 3-wood and a Callaway Rogue 4-hybrid.I struggle hitting the 4-hybrid especially in the rough and the 3-wood is only good off the tee or the fairway. I can get about 150-160 yards with the 3-wood.I got the Hywood to give me distance off the tee, the fairway or the rough, and it performs! When I hit it pure, I've sent it 170 yards. Mis-hits don't go as far but I've still managed 140-150 yards and I more than happy with that. This has become my favorite club.
This was bought to bridge the distances from my Hy-Wood to my new 6 iron at the top end of the iron set. It replaces another older hybrid from a previous manufacturer and the differences are negligible. I should probably have kept the other club as I was happy with it but gave in to the temptation to have an all new and matching set. The hybrid is
I got this club and right out of the box I could tell this was a great club. Not only did it have a great weight to it and it swung easy, when it connected with the ball, it soared straight and true. This is one of my favorite clubs! So much so, that I am considering the 6 hybrid as well.
Had my Halo XL 3 Hybrid customized to fit. After a few months of use, I can happily report that this club is filling my distance gap on the par 5's nicely. Although my 3-wood is a bit longer, it's very inconsistent. The improvements in accuracy I am seeing with this hybrid more than makes up for it. Therefore, the hybrid has replaced my 3-wood.
I bought a set of clubs for my husband. We needed one extra club to complete the set and it was the Cleveland Golf HALO XL Hybrid 4H. The first time out my husband had consistent contact, reduced slice, and longer hits! I can’t wait to see his excitement with the remaining set to arrive this week!
I have the Halo XL 3, 5, 6 and 7 hybrids. Replaced multiple long irons. Much better distance and forgiveness. With the guide rails on bottom these are the only clubs I can effectively hit from the rough.
