I find the Clif Bars generally good tasting and scrumptious with the exception of the Chocolate Chip, it tastes too sweet for me. I use them as my breakfast replacement with two pieces of fruit. Clif bar makes some really great energy bars and the coconut is one of my favorites. It has a chewy texture and lots of sweetness (Also quite a bit of added sugar, so that is a con) This particular flavor, while delicious, actually upset my stomach for some reason. I am thinking it is the coconut, as coconut oil and other products have been known to cause me some issues. (I think that is not uncommon for coconut?) I still recommend you give them a try if you are looking for a new energy bar flavor. They are pricey, so be forewarned!

The "supply chain" comment explaining why these are temporarily unavailable has been in place since last Fall. And it doesn't, frankly, make sense when all the other flavors are back. I've been husbanding my last few (which technically expired in January), but soon I'll be all out . And I love this flavor!

I love this Clif bar! It's like a healthy dessert. It's perfect for the busy days when I can't grab lunch or my energy is stalling and I need something to kickstart me to make it through the rest of the school day. It has the quality ingredients I'm looking for and just enough protein to benefit me.
I used to enjoy the apricot Clif Bars on cycling and camping trips, but apparently those are not made anymore. So I tried these coconut chocolate chip ones instead. I really didn't taste the coconut very much, but the chocolate chip taste was nice. One of these with a hot cup of coffee or tea will give you lots of sustained energy. These are actually a good source of vegetable protein, fiber, and various micronutrients. I think next time I will try the oatmeal raisin walnut flavor.
I have Parkinson's and my neurologists suggested I eat these bars for their energy and caloric content to help me maintain my weight. I love the coconut chocolate chip the best and it goes well with my protein drink that I also take. They are the right size and taken in the morning helps me get the day started.
I give these to my. neighbors when they help me out with things around the house. I love many of their flavors and hope they never stop making the flavors/types currently on the market.They help me with energy when I am too tired to make dinner. I love them!!
The coconut choc chip flavor is by far the best bar you make so why is it not available for purchase anymore. Why discontinue the best one you have? So disappointed that I can't buy them anymore. Please bring back ASAP! This is the only protein bar I eat.
I have tried them all, but I alway return to CLIF, chocolate chip & coconut being my favorite. They are kinda hard to find in the stores these days, hopefully this will change.One change I would wish wish they would make ( I have made this suggestion before but was ignored). Put a tear perforation on one end of the bar package. They are so hard to get into. You can't get into a bar with out destroying the package and I graze on my bars and need to keep them in the package
Having tried most of the Clif Bars and liking them all I find Coconut Chocolate Chip the best all around bar for me. The ingredients, the flavors within each bar and the general taste provides a fantastic gustatory experience. In addition the energy benefits from this bar complements the tastes described above. Overall, a fantastic product that I hope stays in the lineup for many years to come.
