A bit disappointing

Overall, I'm a bit disappointed in the shoes. They are not as comfortable as my old shoes, of another brand. The right shoe seems a bit larger than the left shoe, as my right heel slides around when I walk in them. This is why I like to try shoes on before buying. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my size (12) in a style that I liked in any local stores. First time I wore these outside, I walked around my yard for a few minutes and was surprised when I discovered a nick in the light-colored foam around the sole. I don't think these shoes will last very long.

Crestwood Hiking Shoe's made it through the wild west

I purchased these shoes as for spring break we were traveling to Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon National Parks. I needed a good quality hiking shoe that could get through snow packed trails as well as wet and muddy trails. The shoes are comfortable and met the challenge and made it through miles and miles of national park trails, boating on Lake Powell and a 30 mile dusty UTV tour. The shoes faired very well and still look new after some clean up. They keep your feet warn, dry and comfortable.

Excellent durability for an average looking shoe

I've been ordering this model or the previous model of this Columbia shoe (the Berklee [?]) for the past 8 years simply because of the sole's durability. It is the only shoe I've found that can hack two years of 6+ miles of walking per day, on average, without wearing out. I would love to see a new style; it looks too much like a 'dad shoe.' Nevertheless, the price is right.

Grab then before they are gone
9 April 2023

For me these shoes were perfect. I purchased the original pair at a local shoe store and thought, like some many of the things that are going on and the variety of shoes that Columbia offers, they would be soon gone. So, I bought another pair that are on the shelf until the first purchase is worn out. Why when they making good they soon discontinue it? Grab them before they are gone.

Make sure you wear them for a while before deciding to keep them
24 June 2022

Nice shoes, Columbia shoes are my go to shoes. Noticed the fit was about 1/2 size smaller than other Columbia shoes I have owned. My toes hit the side. My fault for not wearing them long enough before taking them outside. Will keep these for everyday backup wear. Purchased a second one that was 1/2 size larger.

No more waterproof for me.
21 July 2022

The waterproofing caused the tops of my feet to redden and itch. Of course I didn't know that would happen when I put them on for work but because I wore them for between 8-16 hours the customer service representative told me there was almost no chance the warehouse staff would accept them as a return. This was my 3rd pair of Columbia shoes (previous pairs were not waterproofed) and I hadn't had any problems till this happened. So I had to order another pair without waterproofing and now I have $150 invested but only one pair of useful shoes. I've never had a problem with other brands of waterproofed shoes, I wonder what Columbia is doing or using that's different.

Poor quality
26 January 2023

Throwing away after a couple of months light use. Firstly the insole wore away within a week just with normal light park walking. And ok easy enough to replace. In less than 2 months the backs have torn and the hard inner now rubs causing blisters on back of foot. So uncomfortable is this that they are now impossible to wear. With any comfort at all. Both shoes as illustrated. Such a shame as the outside are in very good condition. Sadly this does not help with comfort.

Runs small and size varies
4 November 2022

Ordered a size 12 and felt a little to snug for comfort, but toe length was ok. Returned them for a size 12 Wide (a whole other story) and the replacement pair was a lot tighter on the sides and length seems shorter as now my toes are hitting the front of the show and overall very uncomfortable. I don't know if these are manufactured in different factories, but the wider shoe should have been bigger, not smaller. I'm returning them again and don't know if I will reorder since this is getting expensive. These were to replace a similar Columbia shoe, YM6390-255, that was very comfortable and which I had worn multiple pairs for years, but it looks like they discontinued it.

Very stylish ... but waterproofing should last longer
4 July 2022

Purchased in early May, 2022. Waterproofing lasted until 1st of July. Like their looks and fit -- but purchased specifically for the waterproofing. I don't wade through creeks or wear them on the beach -- just take early morning walks in the dew-laden grass. Perhaps because of the every-day exposure to moisture I do notice the rubber on the sides and front beginning to crack slightly. That makes me fear that these shoes, quite apart from the waterproofing issue, won't last very long. Too bad . . . I initially thought these were going to be the perfect shoe for me!

nice shoes, glad I bought it
12 January 2023

I bought this shoe on December 17, 2022. My package arrived in 4 days. On the night of December 24, unfortunately, my apartment was filled with water from two floors above. I have unintentionally tested this shoe. I tried to throw out the water at a height of 3 or 4 cm for exactly 3 hours. After 3 hours, while I was sitting in the car due to exhaustion, I realized that the shoes were not waterproof even a drop. good thing i bought it. Columbia certainly has more comfortable shoes. But I think this shoe is very good for the price.
