I bought a pair of these back in December of 2022. After 8 months they are now my go to shoes. Extremely comfortable, even after wearing all day and standing. Excellent slip free sole, great arch support, and good looking. Just purchased a second pair in another color and am contemplating a third pair for way down the road.

I purchased a size 10 and a size 9.5 of this shoe at Cabelas and unfortunately they were both defective in the right side heel (or maybe I'm defective). In the store these shoes feel great, very comfortable and I like the true grip sole.Unfortunately after a short hike, my right heel started rubbing on the plastic heel cup part and caused a blister (on both sizes). I tried them a few other times with different lengths of hikes, different socks and different tying methods and each time my right heel started to blister. For the following days my heel has hurt with all shoes I'm wearing.Unfortunately, Cabela's won't take back shoes that have been worn. And Columbia's warranty service told me "we don't warranty shoes for being uncomfortable." Sooo...I guess I get to ... MoreI purchased a size 10 and a size 9.5 of this shoe at Cabelas and unfortunately they were both defective in the right side heel (or maybe I'm defective). Very good shoe. Comfortable right out the box. More padding in the sole than I am accustomed to, which is quite nice. I walk 6-10 miles per day and that bit of cushion is appreciated. Have walked through some very wet grass and the waterproofing seems sound. The price is good for a quality hiker. Good structure - holds foot secure and stable. Sizing guide was very handy, as different company's use different standards. Well done.

Brilliant walking shoes. High quality, the best walking shoes I’ve ever purchased. Without a doubt you get what you pay for. I’ve had many pairs over the years but there’s no doubt these are the best.
I got these as a Christmas gift and just recently wore them in a rain. They were not waterproof. In fact, they didn't even seem to be water repellent. It's like wearing tennis shoes. I'm wondering if there was a mix up in the factory, and they just forgot to include the waterproof layer during assembly. I'm going to see if I can get replacements or a refund.
Throwing away after a couple of months light use. Firstly the insole wore away within a week just with normal light park walking. And ok easy enough to replace. In less than 2 months the backs have torn and the hard inner now rubs causing blisters on back of foot. So uncomfortable is this that they are now impossible to wear. With any comfort at all. Both shoes as illustrated. Such a shame as the outside are in very good condition. Sadly this does not help with comfort.
Purchased in early May, 2022. Waterproofing lasted until 1st of July. Like their looks and fit -- but purchased specifically for the waterproofing. I don't wade through creeks or wear them on the beach -- just take early morning walks in the dew-laden grass. Perhaps because of the every-day exposure to moisture I do notice the rubber on the sides and front beginning to crack slightly. That makes me fear that these shoes, quite apart from the waterproofing issue, won't last very long. Too bad . . . I initially thought these were going to be the perfect shoe for me!
Shoes were delivered promptly. Went from the box onto my feet and straight into a rugged two mile hike on uneven trails. Absolutely no new shoe discomfort at all. Arch support was very good and the fit was exactly right. Ordered my normal shoe size and the fit was perfect. Looking to purchase another pair of these shoes, I like them that much.
I had purchased a pair of Columbia shoes from a retailer that fell apart after 2 weeks. Returned them to Columbia and received an e card that was only good thru online ordering. The sizing that Columbia shows on their website is grossly inaccurate. My first pair that I ordered, based on the information on their website, true to fit, was too small. Returned them for credit and ordered a size larger, still too small. Finally went back to a retailer and tried on shoes to get a fit that I wanted. Reordered and finally got the right pair. Hopefully these will last longer than 2 weeks because their return policy will cost you money, time, and general displeasure with Columbia. I guess since they were made in Vietnam, their feet measure differently than US made. And also, ... MoreI had purchased a pair of Columbia shoes from a retailer that fell apart after 2 weeks. I bought these shoes online about a month ago. After minimal wear, each shoe developed an audible squeak while walking. It is very audible while walking across a quiet room to the point that I am embarrassed to wear them for anything but hard work. It's a nice looking shoe but I would never buy them again.
