I have purchased and worn many pairs of Converse. The biggest issue that I've always had with them is that they're tight on my feet. I have wide feet and would often need to keep the laces loose, or do an open lacing on the bottom to keep them comfortable.These pair, however, are wide enough that they didn't need any sort of modification to be comfortable.The design and fabric remain true to the original. The canvas is flexible, comfortable, and doesn't need to be broken in. The insole is a little cushy, but not so much that I can't to squats or deadlifts in them if I needed.The tongue often falls to the side throughout the day and needs to be readjusted.
