I wear only Converse Chuck 70's.These are consistent with every other pair I own. I would venture to say that these are 'True to Size" as opposed to purchasing 1/2 size smaller.My other Chuck 70's have been purchased @ 1/2 smaller size which tended to be a tight fit even after 1,000,000 wearings.
Really happy with my purchase, the colour is a lovely burnt orange colour which I was really pleased with, the white/ cream toe looks a bit more plasticy than other converse I've had before, just not a matte finish but still really pleased with them. I'm in between sizes and love they do half sizes, true to size for 6.5 really comfortable would recommend
I really liked the distinctive Green color. I ordered size 10 1/2 and that was the correct size.I bought the shoes purely in Maite’s name. She was a 10 year old slaughtered in the Uvalde shooting. She was identified by her green shoes with the heart she painted on the toe of the right shoe. I attempted to draw that black heart exactly like hers. I will not forget her!!!
Honestly, I don't like the Chuck 70's. They're somehow both too big, with lots of heel slippage & your feet aren't secure, and too small - the toe box is very squashed and short. I've tried everything from extra soles to heel grips to gel heel socks but they just gave me blisters and squashed toes. The bottom is flat and hard and that also causes pain. As someone who finds the All Stars very comfortable and true to size straight out of the box, these are incredibly disappointing. I kept them because I love the colour but I'm beginning to regret it.
The shoes are great: fantastic brandy colour, comfortable and well made. I am a huge fan of Converse trainers and I have been rarely disappointed so what more can you want?! The delivery was good, and the parcel arrived even a day earlier, so well than Asos.
