Better than the Classics

They are fantastic! Great color, great fit (if you order a half size down), and the solid material and heel cup are so much better than the Classic Chucks. If the Classic Chucks don't work for you, try the Chuck 70s!

Great look great fit one complaint

These shoes fit great. They feel great on my feet. Unfortunately, the tongue slides off the top of your foot towards the outside of your foot on both feet. I have another pair of Chuck that are not the 70s they are cheaper shoe, but the tongue doesn’t move on those. that’s my only complaint. and understand I’m almost 60 years old. I wore these shoes in the 70s I miss the old kind. I probably won’t buy another pair of 70s. But I will buy the cheaper ones

More Cushion for Achy Feet

After 40 years of wearing regular chucks I splurged on the Chuck 70. The extra cushioning feels great. I got the wide, which turned out to be a bit too roomy. My only complaint is about the tongues, which seems too long for a lowtop

Narrow Toe Box

I love everything about my Classic Chuck's except the insole, which is why the Ortholite insole cushioning was one feature that made me finally decide to buy the Chuck 70 version of my fave black shoe. Unfortunately, the toe box is too narrow, especially for those of us with wide feet. The Classic Chuck provides a more uniform appearance overall and comfort across the foot. The Chuck 70 does the opposite. I'm a little disappointed and am contemplating returning the shoe. There are other major differences, but I can live with those.

Stylish and comfortable

First and foremost, the comfort of these sneakers is outstanding. Such a change from the classic Converse All Stars I'm used to. Whether I was walking around the office or running errands on the weekend, my feet felt pleasantly cozy. They're becoming an everyday shoe for me. After a couple weeks of daily wear, they still look new.In terms of style, this retro look pairs well with just about anything. Super comfortable for wearing all day!

These Chuck 70s are great. The include extra cushioning and support that are exactly what I need if I'm going to be wearing them all day. They're slightly heavier than the classic chucks but the sturdiness and support add that. These are now my favorite chucks!

Vintage Classic

The Chuck 70 wide comes with a vintage look to it but has the same classic feel the original Chuck converse has. The shuttle cream shade of the insole makes the converse chuck look broken in but the white upper makes it look new and stand out even further. The subtle shade of cream also allows you to wear them with a wider range of colors than a regular all white pair. Overall the vintage look on the Chuck Wide 70 looks incredible and will get you a ton of compliments.

Well worth it!

I’m an older guy and went back to converse a pair of Converse out of curiosity. So glad I did. They are incredibly comfortable and better than anything else I have tried. Plus my grandkids say I look cool!

so sad to not fit properly

I love these nicks 70s, and purchase a new pair every 4-6 months for foot care and aesthetics, but this last pair is not true to size; it is slipping on the heel. Since I checked that the size is correct I now assume it is not in my mind, or feet, but the manufacturer. I may ask for a refund and try again.
